lindasledgirl Posted November 1, 2011 Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 Hi Linda, welcome to QuebecRider. I used to spend my summers in Ontario(Smooth Rock Falls)the fishing was great.. I must say...that is very Northern Ontario! I bet that was a pretty remote area to fish! You were probably fishing pickeral (walleye), Norther Pike, maybe a little Muskie? I have only been fishing for about 5 years...I have decided I need less fishing 'stuff' and more fishing 'trips'. I am invited to go Ice Fishing this winter (late in the season) to Lake of the Woods with Gordon Pyzer from Outdoors Canada. He and his wife have invited me to stay at their house in Kenora for this event...I can't wait! I don't ice fish much because the snowmobiling is my favourite but depending on who I am with and where we are, I can stand out there all day fishing...nothing like it.
