snowpromod
Looking to come up and run a small 3 day loop middle of next week, looking for suggestions - nothing to crazy 200-250 a day is fine - the closer the starting point is to Ny the better! We will cross through customs at 1000 Islands . . . how are things in Mont Laurier holding up? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as well as nice places to stay and gas issues - we have a couple gas hogs :(! snowpromod
Option from using the interactive map: Day 1 - Mekoos to Koubek or Sacacomie (about 180 miles) Day 2 - Koubek or Sacacomie to Gouin (about 233 miles) Day 3 Gouin to Mekoos (about 185 miles) Thoughts? Gas issues? Condition issues?

snowpromod
Thank you for that, really appreciate it! Looks like Mekoos and Rabaska are closing this weekend. How is the comfort inn in Mt Laurier as a starting point?
wulsock1
We just came back from Temiscaming. Rode from there to Val'dor day one. Back to Ville Marie day two. Short day back to truck and home to NY. Trails there were great. Home is at the 1000 Islands so 5 to 6 hours in the truck.
wulsock1
BTW the snow looked thin In Ottawa. It wasn't bad from Pembroke up.

A place you could park your trailers, drop your sleds, eat and sleep upon arrival is in the municipality of Saint-Anne du lac.
