Bluegrass Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 How much rain are they calling for Friday and Saturday Quote
iceman Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 Just over 1/2” of rain, snow on backside sunday. Quote
snowmaster2112 Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 1/2" rain + weekend traffic+ low snow so far this season = IMO....stay away from this area. PLAYHARD, RoadRunner and Florida Snowman 3 Quote
ChrisWright Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 Yep, cancelled our reservations yesterday. This winter was off to such a great start and then it fall on its' arse! PLAYHARD 1 Quote
800steve Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 Wait until tomorrow and check again, it has changed every day so far. Quote
ChrisWright Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 Yes, I've noticed that. Keeps getting warmer! At home, last night they were calling for 50 degrees on Saturday, now they are calling for 60 degrees here. I realize the jet stream can make all the difference in the world, but we were to leave Thursday and I have been down this road way too many times in the past and it hasn't worked out. Hopefully, murphy's law will be in affect and my decision to back out will bring feet of snow to the region and zero rain!!! PLAYHARD 1 Quote
snowmaster2112 Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 Go to Louvicort or better yet Lac Tiblemont area and head north. Call Bobby at Auberge Tiblemont where I’m sure he’ll have a room and safe parking for your rig while your away. RoadRunner and PLAYHARD 2 Quote

ChrisWright Posted January 14, 2020 Report Posted January 14, 2020 Well, how was the weather over the weekend? I see the area ended up with lots of snow, but was there much rain on the front end? Had a group of newbies for the weekend and none of them were too eager to back pack, so we ended up heading for the UP of Michigan instead. Quote
