And this one is Le Resto Chevreuil the most popular in town which is the one that is closed and up for sale.

I'm sure this closure was well thought out, and most likely due to the camp ground closing this season.  Its amazing to see how interconnected everything is and the fallout when one piece goes away.

On another note, we need to get Linda involved with this.  Not sure who the local agent is, but we know for a fact Linda can sell and is quite successful.

I see where this is going and don't see an issue.  Question is how much does it cost to adopt an American for a sled trip?

Last year they stopped requiring the daily reg/permits in the 4 remaining Mass forests.

Thank goodness the current DCR crew are all motorheads, vs the previous tree-huggers.

The Pittsfield Forest trailhead to Jiminy is kinda gnarly now, so momentum is your friend.

Yeah Beartown like Tolland are still (sort of) open with "technical" stuff like you said.

But trails aren't quite tied together so the only legit way to do it is by DP 2-wheelers.

Savoy's closed to dirt wheels, so Pitt & Rock'tober Mtn are the go-tos for great quadding.

Tolland is still open?   Wow.  Had lots of fun and good memories riding there.

  4. Spent lots of time riding the trails of Pittsfield forest with my first raptor.  Stopped riding when the state proposed limits on the number of riders per day.

Will have to dig up a few shots from the archives and compare results.  I'm considering renewing my registration just to see if any team stickers are left behind.....  did you get to Jiminy peak? Trail climbs the back side of the mountain and if the slopes are open the restaurant will be open for snacks and warm beverages.

Anyway, if you have a chance, ride beartown forest.  Trails are more technical and less traveled  (well, that was my impression 14 years ago).

Ya tink, sure wasn’t the northern forest roads, they just burn up your fuel. Lol.

And loosen hardware on steering stems.  Not that I know anything about that...

Just need to include the enhancements to reduce fuel consumption and go faster.  Think a diet is in order.

very seldom i speak in km.....always miles !!!

Like using km here. Sounds like I rode more.

Nice going on the machine.   Not sure how much they can be ridden before major issues occur.   In my case, this raptor is the first with an odometer.   My first ride had an experience (hour) meter, which I installed.  Sold it with 400 hours and after finding cracks on its second frame.  Think the mx track had something to do with that...

Wow.  Have about 4800km on my ride.  Think it's time I move up there and add a few more digits to the measurement.

True.  I stay young by playing at the local MX track. Should have dedicated rides for track and trail but don't have the room for both.  So I compromise and keep the raptor, evendors though it looks like a toy compared to the adult sized machines in the group.

Just wait till you're old & achy, you'll learn to hate a straight axle in the rear!

    (Oh my, that sounds naughty)

I'd hit like, but couldn't stop laughing from your comment. 50 now and know what you are talking about.  The investment in an aftermarket suspension really made a difference and wouldn't ride a sporty without that.

Still have a few more years though

Awesome.  Did the Gaspe about 5 or 6 weeks ago out of Rimouski.  1200 miles in 8 days!  Great trip.  Do you happen to have a GPS route or track on which you based your trip?

    Thanks!

    Nice. What were you riding?

Accord and Saratoga (Albany-Saratoga Speedway)  for special events, Glen Ridge and Five Mile Point.

Cool. Let me know when you make it down.  Accord is nearby and wouldn't mind checking the race out

Nope.  Totally compliant.   That requirement only applies to dogs.

Do you race in Middletown or Accord?  I'm familiar with the dirt track near Saratoga but wasn't sure if you make it further south

Glad to see you also shop at Seymours.  Bought my last 2 sleds from there and will continue to do so.  Great dealer.
