  1. We did pass bu and get gas there. Looks like a nice lodge but to close to Le-Classic. Did you stay there?
  2. Can someone please let be know where I can buy gas on this route? I know from experience not all the gas stations are marked on the FCMQ app all but it still feels better to know before leaving. LOL
  3. LOL. I honestly did not recognize this place till just now. We found this place but they said they have no gas.
  4. Parking at Hotel Le-Classic next Friday AM. Were just thru the area in February and could not find outfitters or lodges. Do you have any recommendations or places we missed? Stayed in motel every night. We have stayed in Lac-Fallion, Clova and Fer-Cheval so familiar with those areas. Or route last month was parking at Hotel Forestal. First night in Chibougamua, second in Matigami, third in Notre-Dame and then back to Hotel Forestal the last day. Never saw any or passed any lodges (Except Camp Rhonda which is closed) or outfitters. Thinking of heading up to La-Sarre and doing a loop back down. Thanks in advance for you suggestions. Mike

  6. There is no fuel in St Domonique. Just went thru there last weekend. Go to Amos or if you cant make it stop in St Felix. There are no signs for gas off the trail at St Felix but the gas station is just up the hill on the main road.
  7. You can make it with an E-tech but carb's wont make it. I did it and had 138 miles from LSQ to Chapais. Demaraisville is only off the trail 1 mile. We had to dump 3 gallon in the 800 carb. On the way back we knew we had to push to get north so we rode hard. Chib to LSQ was 3 1/2 hours including stopping in Demaraisville this time
  8. I was up last weekend. Parked in Val d'Or . Rode to Chibugama first day. Trail 93 all day 325 miles. Second day had to replace a bearing in the top main idler wheel. Local shop allowed us to use his tools after we bought the parts from the Ski Doo shop. Left at 12 noon and rode to Matagami and arrived at 6:15. 93 and 396 trail. 275 miles. Third day rode from Matagami to Notre-Dam-Du-Nord. 396 to 83. 386 miles for the day. 4th day back to truck was 83 south to 63 west to 309 north. Total of 1125 for 3 1/2 days riding. if you are able to the ride to Matagami up is nice and the ride down on the pipelines on 396 on the west side is a very good ride. From Matagami to Amos is 2 hours and 130 miles. If you cant make it there is gas in St Flelix.
  9. why is the Lepine trail closed? Was planning on running it in several weeks.
  10. The only place to get them in Val Dor is the tourist center and they dont open till 8:30. We plan to be in Senneterre by then. LOL . I called the Ski Doo in Sennenterre and they have them at the counter. Thanks for your replies
  11. Plan to arrive at Forestal at 6 AM tomorrow morning. 3 of us have yearly passes and we are taking another guy along that needs a week pass. Where can we find a pass in these towns? Headed to CHI for the night. Saw Iceman was stopped and dont want to go thru that explaining as to why 3 have permits and 1 does not. Lol
  12. Thanks .....I thought I would try one more time and now it went thru! Hopefully meet you this year! be blessed
  13. I did and they do not approve my card even though my credit card company approved the site
  14. Bill, Any passes left? I sent money thru pay pal last night then my credit card company flagged it. I want to cal them and remove the flag if you still have passes Mike
  15. And yes, I have been watching the weather. Looks like 4-8" of snow after the rain then cold again so I am assuming the groomers will be able to get working again on Thursday after the snow. And we have ice scratchers
  16. We stopped there to get fuel in our truck on our way down from LSQ after picking up ski doo's that blew pistons 2 weeks ago. Was not aware they allow parking there. That is a great spot to park and save a lot of beat up trails from what I hear. So we would leave from there and fuel at La Domaine - La Verendtye - Kitcika. Would that be about a 7 hour ride? We dont stop much but are not crazy fast riders. And where on that stretch can we buy 3 day trail passes? We were all up 2 weeks ago but our trip got cut short by 2 different ski doo's blowing pistons so we want to go again. Mike PS: Thanks for the info. I appreciate people being willing to help
  17. Where do you park in Maniwaki? We are heading up for a short weekend on Thursday night. Wanting to head up 386. Also trying to narrow down the gas stops on 386. Plan to Spend the night at Forestal. How many hours to get there?
  18. We are planning a short 3 day weekend trip and want to park In Mont Laurier area. Planning on heading north on 386 and over to Clova and back down Lepaine RD. Any suggestions on a place to park and get trial passes? We will be arriving in the area approx 7 AM on Friday morning and will not need lodging. Just a safe place to park. Thanks in advance
  19. Did the snow powder melt a lot with the rain or didn't the rain get up north that far?
  20. We spent 5 days in Quebec 2 weeks ago. Parked in St Zenon planning to do the chibugmeou ride but had a motor blow north of LSQ on 93. Towed back to LSQ and after looking at options decided to ride the bus to (9 Hours) Montreal and taxi (2 hours) to St Zenon. Then had a 10 hour drive to LSQ to pick up the skidoo. One guy did that while we chilled in LSQ. I met up with a local guy and we trailered back to some trails way back in and rode there for several hours. I have often seen people come in accross the lake in Clova to fuel and head back out again and according to the summits and freeride's its obvious they are going backcountry and powder. The GPS trailmasters shows 1 trail north of Clova. Are there more? Is there a guide that takes people? Are trails marked at all? Any info would be appreciated. thinking of going up this weekend. Have not gotten our fill of riding as our trip was cut short. Mike, Lancaster, PA
  21. Ice Man, thanks. You give good times and directions!!!!!
  22. What about chapais to roberval? We were planning to be in chapais right now but had sled issues. Only got to Lebel Sur Quevillion tonight. I know it's about 3 hours from here to Chapis. Trying to call ahead as this is a busy weekend coming up from what I hear
  23. Coming from Roberval to La Tuque on Saturday morning. Is it faster on 355 or 83 to 73. And how long does it take. I would appreciate any info you all can share.
  24. I remembered there was a stretch somewhere like that but wasn't sure where anymore. Thanks for the info
