  1. Thank you Florida snowman, I wrote the number down. Martin
  2. Thanks snowmaster2112, I've done it a few times but it has been 10 years. Sounds like it hasn't changed. Thanks again Martin
  3. Heading to Quebec tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had any info on the transport from motel Colibri over to Motel Normandin. Does it still exist?? What are the hours of operation? Which days are available. Thanx in advance. Martin

  5. David Charles Berube (Davemod04) died tuesday May 3 in Long Island N.Y. of injuries sustained in an aircraft accident. His girlfriend Dana Parenteau also perished in the accident along with a third passenger Benjamin Lane Bridges. The article states they had left South Carolina and were headed back to Robertson airport in Plainville,C,T. when the Beachcraft V35B broke apart midflight over the town of Syosset N.Y...... The article continues," An acomplished pilot,Berube was recognized by the federal aviation administration a few years ago for exceeding the high educational, licensing and medical standards set by the FAA. He was included in the prestigous FAA Airman Certification Database, which appears on the agency's website. I had only met Dave once at the races in N.H. My prayers to his family and the others involved. Martin
  6. I was recently at the grass drags in Fremont N.H. the races were canceled on Saturday because of the rain. This gave me plenty of time to check out the different vendors, of course I stopped in to see our friend Bill at the Saguenay-Lac St Jean tourism booth. I think I spent the better part of 30min. talking with QR members, and escaping the rain in the booth and before I left Bill reminded me to sign up for the free raffle. It was for a Choko snowmobile suite,of which I'm a fan and it was a free chance. I don't usually sign up for raffles, always thinking " I'll never win". Well I guess the luck was with me on this day because I'm the winner of the snow suit. It's the Choko trailstar jacket and pants, looks and fits great! Thanx Bill for pointing out the raffle,it's always nice to see you but this visit was a little sweeter.
  7. I think it's not to far from St. George de Beauce, looks like Massif du sud in Chaudiere Appalache region
  8. Groomer, if you have 3,000 posts you must of contribiuted 10,000 photo's. Thank you!! I tune in every day to catch a glimpse of the scenery, and wildlife that you capture on film so well. Salut mon chum, Martin
  9. Hi Trailblazer, Because snowmobiles are sold less expensively here in the states the manufactures voided warranties to Canadiens crossing the border to discourage them from doing so, in turn protecting Canadien dealerships. Martin
  10. Hi Dave, The Lamtrac sled is a supercharged 03 RX-1. It went 210.3mph, my friends at SCM Racing were there to certify the speed record. I believe they used three sources to verify the accuracy, and the driver had to make two passes showing speeds within a certain percentage of each other. I bet the driver tightened his chin strap a little extra on this day.. Martin
  11. That is not a real jackalope. But they can be seen in very remote areas of northern Ontario. These photos are about 120km north of Smooth Rock Falls.
  12. Hi Katana11, I purchased a fuel caddy for my oil, holds 3 gallons of your favorite flavor. Otherwise you may be using different kinds daily. Martin
  13. There is something for everyone. Two wheels Four wheels I did say something for everyone
  14. Hi Greg, definttely a great weekend. I too started going in the mid 80's and it was a real party atmospher with many things going on. Being at the race track and seeing these machines is trully impressive. If you ever thought of going I don't think you'll be disapointed. Here are a few from snowcross. And if speed is your thing the oval racers are sure to please.
  15. Hi Skippydoo, you can get fuel in Casey or Kanawata. Kanawata is a nice place to stop, but call ahead if you plan on spending the night.. Martin
