hi hi-mileage!! about 40/50 miles west from home and never been there . when i ride in the woods ,always go on the north-east side of town. groomer !!!

went grooming tq 5 and a local trail today.greaaaaaaaat day for riding.woke up at 2 30 am,expecting warmer temps,but it was -25c ,decided to play on the computer and started at 5 15 am.- 7c when i came back at 4 30 pm. met my first tourist on andyman's bld.few hundred lower from where we met mcstar !!then about 1 .5 mile further found a little antler on the trail.about half a mile before going down the last hill for the cb ,2 more mooses on the trail.watch yourselves ,there s not enough snow to bother them yet. met a group of 5-6 sledders right at the bottom of the last hill ,around 9 am.saw about 20 sleds today. sad to say,but some still don t make the difference between their right and their left.can t even realize only one side of the trail is groomed .3x today,probably the first time in 11 years of grooming ,it came close . the last one i met ,he probably saw his whole life in a fraction of second, and he ll probably remember how the blue color looks like !!! sorry !! thanks !! groomer !!!

just to make sure ,it was still snowing at 1 hrs pm, not at the time i posted ......maybe too.will check later. groomer !!!

hi !! about 2 weeks ago ,one river west of matane was nt frozen yet.did nt hear or read about that since then.so ,depending which way you re going ,in sayabec ,use trail 591 to go up to matane.you re going to be back on tq 5 ,just a few miles west of matane. river maybe ok,but i can t tell.don t take chances. -27c here early this morning and - 17 c right now. groomer !!

J'ai rouler samedi dernier du mont st-anne jusqu'a baie ST-Paul et c'étais tres bien . tres belle condition . Juste un ou 2 petit bout qui manque de neige , mais ca se fait tres bien (moins de 1 km en tout ) il te reste a savoir plus loins ben selon moi ca devrais etre beaus car il ont plus de neige que nous Bonne chance et Bonne ride guy went riding last saturday from st anne de beaupré up to baie st paul.very nice ,great conditions.only 2 spots with not much snow for less than 1 km. another said ,no problems ,lots of snow. groomer !!!

back in december,heavy rain made a lot of damages in the gaspé,chandler ,riviere au renard area. for the faribault area(trail 595 ) , a friend of mine is a foreman for the truck logging road .on my next time grooming up to the lake ,i ll try not to forget and he should be able to give me info about that.i turn around just next to his cabin. groomer !!!

la 548 oubliez ca J'arrive d'une tentative de faire rimouski-Biencourt. Conditions affreuses, comprend pas qu'on peut mettre ca vert sur les conditions de sentiers. Je crois que la surfaceuse n'est jamais passée â partir de la zec. M'étais promis de ne plus jamais la prendre. On ne m'y reprendra pas cet hiver, c'est juré forget trail 548 between rimouski and biencourt .guy tried the trail and he said it was a disaster. groomer !!!

back from the clubhouse.talked with one of the operators there.trail 587 is groomed on albertville side and st alexis /l ascension side.....but road is plowed for about 6 miles. there s trucking right now and it should end at the end of the week. i ll let you know later.st alexis side,the signage is on the trail,albertville side ,next week end i guess.they did tq5 yesterday. waitress ,told me about members who came this week!! thanks !! still cold here,-24c at 5 am....but sunny. for the hydro power line on tq 5 ,just go very slowly ,few rocks .they 've bulldozed a bit on the shortcut side too. groomer !!!

friend of mine talked with sledders coming from new richmond this afternoon at the clubhouse . groomer !!!

greaaaat pics andy !! last sunday when i posted pics of your visit at the clubhouse ,i was looking at the pics and there was something strange/different on the pics . took many seconds to realize.we were used to see you with your yellow/black coat .probably way too many thousand miles on that coat. tougher to recognize you on the trail!! jean-guy

back from grooming 2 local trails.sunny-cold and windy like hell!!...all over the gaspesie .some roads are closed. met my nephew and one of his friend on smclelan's bld on the way back !!!he s on the left!! coldsmoke : said it ,can t remember when .in baie comeau when they bought their br ,they were unable to climb some hills.so their called the dealer to fix the problem and put studs on it. i don t think im wrong with that ,they received a ''gift '' from bc city.they ve been fined because they broke the pavement,crossing roads!! :huh: groomer !!!

hi vt bluyamaha !! ha !! ha !! i thought about that ,only a supposition ,dirt was frozen and not much ''base'' on the trail,so it s easier to spin the tracks on frozen dirt . ya ,br was up for sale ,looks like not much ''clients '' came to see it.br went way more often to the hospital than mine!! ha !! ha !! it was about time to be busy a bit .im on my way to the lake and that local trail for ste marguerite.looks windy outside . jean-guy
