Fuel in Lac Edwardo, there is a general store on Main St., also outfitters a bit more $. Lac Bouchet has fuel at North side of 355.

I believe the treatment/comment Bill received was unfair and uncalled for, I also wish Bill would post again. QR is a special .com we are all here because of Rob and Bill surely Rob is looking down on us and is not happy with some of this years developments. We need to share people, places and things we see and do in Quebec that's what QR is all about. Certainly there will be differences of opinion but those should be kept to yourself or expressed with some degree of class. During a winter filled with good and bad conditions every report we can get is important especially Bill's with his network of knowledge.

Interesting repair, it was successful now to wait for the bubble they put in my eye to dissipate. The left eye took a little laser repair to prevent a detachment. I have 4 weeks, wanna ride in the end of March.

James it was not all winter that I wrapped the rope around the clutch to start my 2011 800 it was for 3 winters, that starter never worked. 😫😫😫 Eric told me he was thinking 850!!!

My 1200 has been good so far, 6,031 and it's a 2017. Problem it's not much fun to ride I may change that next year. 😏😏😏

Odd to see my seat being offered up, I was always the guy begging for companions. No I did not find myself upside down in the woods again. Vision was funny on Sunday Dr. sent me to surgeon and I have a torn & detaced retina. Trip to Wills Eye tomorrow and will be back in the saddle soon, I hope.

It's where the old trail goes straight tough to miss but not groomed could be a bumpy mess!

Bottom line just ask you will be surprised how helpful the locals can be. Once I paid over $300 US for a flatbed ride to the Delta from Mt Valin, from then on we have just towed ourselves home. I found myself in the below situation one day, couple guys went to town and all of a sudden 2 guys show up, few minutes later a third with a Scandic also showed up. They taught us how to extricate a machine from a very stuck position. They would not take a penny but said when you see someone who needs help you stop and help them. We always did that anyway, the locals are great. How I got in this situation is another story. After getting sled back on trail it started with one pull and we continued on our way.

Ice almost hit that same hole last year on a right hand corner needs to be marked better, there was a ride around then.

Pull yourself to the local dealer. I've been towed farther than I want to talk about over 100 miles once. Get a GOOD tow strap. Bernard use to offer a pick up service when he was here, if puch comes to shove stop at fuel and a local will always get you where you need to go. Bring cash. I believe we have all had this happen it is just a matter of time. Enjoy 23 to Lac St Jean is as good as trails get.
