  1. In Arnprior it started raining last night around 8:30-9ish...fricken pouring now. Problem solved...to get snow move to the Yukon.
  2. Sounds like you had a great trip Mid Range. We trailered to Grand Remous yesterday for a days run. We went up to Le Domaine, since we forgot to buy some octane boost on Saturday. The trails were great from Grand Remous to Le Domaine. We wanted to see how the trail was going to Lac Joncas, but there were lots of sticks poking through the trail so we turned around. It probably gets better as you go, but we didn't have enough time to make it there and back. I lost a piece of my graphic sticker  somewhere on the trail. My boyfriend's gas gauge stopped working  right from the get go...it looks like the sleds are headed back to the dealership before we go out next weekend. *sigh* We also took a bit of the trail you did to get to Clova...really nice. It's a 3 hour drive home so we didn't go too far, but we had fun. Really glad to see the trails are in good shape and it was nice that it was warmer. How far did you go from Grand Remous before the Lepine Road is snow covered?
  3. Can you tell me where to stay in Clova? Is there a safe place to lock up the sleds overnight? Mid Range are you starting your trip from Manawaki? Just wondering what trails you take to Grand Remous from Manawaki? Thanks for the info, just starting to plan the season. It would be really nice to hit the highway to Clova with my new sled.
  4. Any idea about how the trail is from Grand Remous to Clova? Do you know if Mac Dault is open?
  5. Finally I didn't get a hand me down sled for this season. My boyfriend bought me a 2010 Ski Doo 600 E Tec Adrenaline model with the women's graphic paackage. He has the 50th anniversary sled from 2009 which is a 600 E Tech MXZX. There are a few differences in our sleds but it has more to do with how they are set up. His has the X package for suspension and mine doesn't. I got a seat with a bit more squish in it a windshield that is a bit higher. As far as power goes I've never felt that I needed a sled with more than a 600 CC engine. If you are buying her a used sled keep in mind the suspension, I don't think anyone really wants to have a sore back at the end of the riding day. Most important part is that I am warm...we are investing in warming suits for me this season for those -36 days up north.
  6. Pics from out trip to Joncas last winter http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=5946...mp;l=808cfa13e7 Glad they are going to rebuild. Always a great place to stop by, great people there.
