We are heading toward Rivierre du loup on March 5th for a Gaspesie Loop .

How's the snow / trail conditions , are they good everywhere or is there some area's to stay away from.

Have heard some rumours that Rimouski and Bonneadventure areas are a littlelow on snow.

Is this true?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Mark

hi mark !!

just back from grooming tq 5.10-12'' of fresh snow with drifts .maybe between -7c/-10c when i left around 1 pm.-18c right now .

last week end i talked with 2 guys from carleton at the clubhouse.they said riding was good, a bit thin in the fields ,but no rocks and dirt.

that last storm will improve the trails.

groomer !!!

We rode up 5 through RDL + Rimouski then over to Amqui last week. Plenty of snow so you should have no issues on the north and west sides.

Left RDL on the morning of the 28th. The RDL area at that time had the lowest snow compared to everything else we have run so far. It was low snow with an icy base before Monday's snow. Not sure how much they got. So far, from our travels, the interior has the most snow. Say from TQ5 south on 595 to La Cache is the best we have seen so far but we didn't get east of Cap Chat.

Yes, going well, been re-routing on the fly. Drifts and weather have caused some slower days. Trying to make up time today. Overall, great trip so far. too bad you weren't here.
