My wife is from Gander NFLD where 37 of the jets landed on that terrible day and many of our friends and family helped all the displaced and stranded passengers. I have witnessed many aviation disasters in my career but 911 was by far the worst imaginable. So to my many friends from south of the 49th I will sit on my porch and raise a glass to the friendships we have not only our personal ones but the great friendships between our countries.
