92vwgti Posted December 8, 2011 Report Share Posted December 8, 2011 yea we have lots of areas here in quebec too that you can hunt for free but a "zec" are old private clubs for people that had big $$$ so back in the 70s they made these private clubs accescible to the public and is now what we call a zec, anybody can go hunting or fishing on a zec you just have to pay special fees which go towards maintenance of the "zec" like keeping main roads and secondary roads maintaned,stocking of some lakes,employees etc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
