Launching out of the delta

Recommended Posts

The snow cover in the valley was marginal when we came thru this am, we  did talk with some guys from the valley that rode up to the mountain Saturday, but rain Saturday night in the valley probably didn’t help things.

I would try to get a real time snow report before I tried to ride there. We came home from Valin Saturday and its very thin in the valley.   Mt Valin and L etape have plenty, but down low not so much.

Between Saguenay and Quebec City.  Right in the middle of a mountain range.

800steve where all did you ride

Mt Valin, it was great. If you go, go during the week, weekends will be a zoo until other areas open up.  And I mean a ZOO, stopped going on weekends about 10 years, not worth the drive.

Ditto!  Been driving up Sundays and driving home Fridays for ever.

Head down & elbows in for longer rides that have to include weekend days.

Hey,

Julie at the Delta got back to me and sent me a Pic of the Sled Corral which is no longer at the Pool but now has a camera\video feed. The Pool is gone and they will be adding a new Indoor Pool and more rooms.

She has a call into the local club, but has not heard back. I've ridden out on less snow. "Usually" once you get out of town the depth increases.

Later

I just arrived here at the Delta. Checked in and now at the bar having a beer and food after the white knuckle drive here from mtl.

Meeting up with friends at the Mont tomorrow. Unfortunately there wasn't a room available for me till tomorrow. So here I am, first time here, nice place!

If your here come and say hi, black shirt and blue cap on.
