smclelan
Has anyone heard if trail 383 will be open this season? This is the trail that runs east and west on the south side of the Saguenay River.
BOBLER
the trail has been removed from the quebec provincial map, so i would say its not goingto be open
Saguenay Bill
Has anyone heard if trail 383 will be open this season? This is the trail that runs east and west on the south side of the Saguenay River. Steven 383 is still there but not the same route as it use to be. It now runs from L'Anse-Saint-John to 83 at Lac Bazile, which is about 30 miles from the junction of 3 and 83. Two years ago at about mid season 383 was closed from L'-Anse-Saint-Jean down to 3. It was not opened last year, and as BOBLER stated it won't be open this year. It shows on the map an orange trail from L'Anse-Saint-Jean to Petit-Saguenay. However when I was down there last year, where the trail makes a 90 and heads towards Petit-Saguenay, it was not groomed. I was told that money for grooming is the issue for it not being opened. By the way the trail, 383 from L'-Anse-Saint-Jean to 83 is a very nice trail IMO. It isn't a trail to go fast on but a nice ride, about 20 miles.
