Saguenay Bill Posted October 17, 2015 Report Posted October 17, 2015 Spitting snow here in my section of NH. Couldn't see the big Mts, low hanging clouds but I'm sure there is snow on them. Quote

Phil 1 Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 When you're done share a pic or two of your work. Jim is working hard to get that red metal roof off and complete the job with those blue tarps, it is NY after all. Quote

mcstar Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 So Jim, are you going to ride there (lake George area) or is this a "relay" for your trip up to Quebec?? Quote
Jackstraw Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 So Jim, are you going to ride there (lake George area) or is this a "relay" for your trip up to Quebec?? I'm lookin forward to giving it a try if the snow is good. The trail is 3 miles down the road from me. Quote
Trailblazer Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 I'm sensing a new location for a Quebec Rider gathering. Good job on the roof Jim Quote
Phil 1 Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Yes nice spot. Love the bathroom, I'm sure the whole place will be fantastic when you are done with it. Quote

Jackstraw Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Yes nice spot. Love the bathroom, I'm sure the whole place will be fantastic when you are done with it. It's been a year, think I missed 2 weekends. One more cottage on the property to rehab next summer to rent out. Quote
Jackstraw Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Prepare to be underwhelmed. Trail is trails no offense but it's not worth it. Trust me. I know it ain't terrific, but the trailer will be there and in between the QC trips I'll give it a shot. Actually I heard Washington County from the Village South East is real nice, low traffic and more wide open then ADK Park. One thing good it's only 31/2 hrs to Shawinigan from there. and 4 Miles from the Northway. Quote

Off season is way too long. During the week is not bad up there near the Village and south. Quote
Phil 1 Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Well Don we surely hijacked your thread... Quote

I am one of the groom operators for the area and sorry but I have to disagree. If we have the snow our trails are amoung the best in NYS. I guess I shouldn't say that though as I like having the trails to ourselves. Yup I agree don't come not worth it. :bh: Quote

I am sure you do a fine job, not knocking all the volunteers that make it happen, but if you Ride in Quebec it's hard to do anything else. Like drinking cheap Tequila or having the choice between Ramden Noodles or Filet Mignon. You feel me? Quote
Sled Dog Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 9 inches in Parish NY!! And last year the trails in NY were fantastic. Especially in Feb... Quote

If I could afford to ride in QC more often I would. But riding out of my backyard is nice as well. :bc: Quote
PLAYHARD Posted November 14, 2015 Report Posted November 14, 2015 Like drinking cheap Tequila. You feel me? Don't even say it mi amigo! Quote
