That sucks ass not a fun way to spend the night. I sure hope the poor guy recovers without any life long after affects

By deductive reasoning it is my belief two buddies I’m riding with got bad gas at Repos two days ago. So did another guy we met on the trail and all 3 sleds have same symptoms Just a BIG FYI to everyone

While eating breakfast (great) at the Central a few minutes ago met a French guy (Paul) and his wife who rode with Jim a couple trips up here over the years. It was him that was in the accident. He is ok and riding over in the UP now I guess. The other guy involved in the accident from Ontario broke his femur.

I'm not usually a "red" guy......but that is one SWEET looking machine !!! -
I made my donation weeks ago while there. Some local woodworker craftsman made a half dozen wooded donation boxes with her name engraved and hearts all around that are spread out all over the town. Thought I had a pic of one but will get and post one Monday as we will be there sunday night.

Oh....and a shout out to the boys from Norwood , NY that I met and chatted with at Real Masse late yesterday. All good guys. Keep the track side down !!

I have a thick soft case with another "softer" yet case sorta like a "down" ski jacket material. Never have a problem. scroll back up and look at pic of Jean-Guy at Haltaparache you can see my case laying on the table

Rolled back into St-Jean-de-Matha at 5:30 yesterday from Parent. Never passed another sled on trail till after Giraldo dam some 170 miles from Parent. Finished up the 5.5 day solo ride with 1522 pristine miles. Going back up with "the band" (my usual riding partners) on saturday for another week of riding. Probably wont have a "thread" for that trip as I get all the entertainment I need when i'm riding with my buddies. Trails are all superb. My best recommendation from last trip would be do the 83 from Parent all the way west to Senneterre. Beyond insane conditions.

Just ride sled (1.5km) over to the Central Hotel in town. Good food & atmosphere Jeanie at the L'Hombre du Vent told me yesterday morning she is booked up with all four cabins every day in February on thursdays/fridays/saturdays/sundays

Mario here at Kanawata says 30 people last night and 30 more tonight and tomorrow. You certainly wouldn’t know it as it’s like a ghost town right now with only me here. The nicest thing about that is I can actually sorta use the internet.....LOL

Stopped by and had a cafe with Jean-Guy at Haltaparache. We laughed about the stupidity of the Lac Magog boys

As I sit here eating “my usual” ......I thank God for Monday’s 95 miles of pure heaven from Parent to Kanawata. Saw absolutely mo one and trails were minty mimt groomer was filling up at gas station in Parent when I pulled in yesterday and I knew he was heading to Wemo

1km from depanneur/ gas station on private trail. Wooded setting makes you feel like your out “ in the bush” but your right in town. i wouldn’t consider staying anyplace else while in Parent. Owners André ( THE man in Parent) and Jeanie are FIRST class, both speak fluent English. And if you ever have a mechanical problem there is NO ONE in Parent that is more equipped the André at dealing with it. Has 100X50 shop and several employees on site. one person = 125.00 two =. 150 three. =. 175 four. =. 200. Taxes all included full stocked kitchen, microwave, stove, coffee pot, best internet in town, flat screen w/direct TV and a phone you can call anywhere on
