  2. Well.....the first ride is done! Lack a bit of snow in the mountain! But it was a beautiful day anyway! The parking of the Church of St. Luke was full to as! :wacko: No less than thirty machines! I went out with JeanXC. At the tower of St. Magloire!   5. Yes, we have this in Québec city... between the south & the north shore!! Juste call Hôtel Colibri on the north shore...418-872-2848 & they will send your at Hôtel/môtel Bernière on the south shore. They do not know the price for 2008-2009 season.   7. Hi everyone! Good news for the Chaudière-Appalache region! Here are two pictures of the 1st snow that remained on the ground! Right now it snows, They announced from 6 to 10 cm. Hope to ride soon! Sb 2006
  8. Have you heard this news? USA - A federal judge has banned snowmobiles in Yellowstone National Park. According to him, the plan approved by the Bush administration and to authorize 500 snow scooters to travel each day through the parks of Yellowstone and Grand Teton in winter would create noise and air pollution that might disturb wildlife. Emmit Sullivan, the judge handling the case, justified its decision: "In the light of data collected by the National Park, this project can only increase air pollution, noise pollution and thus disturb the Wildlife park. " In recent years, snowmobiles had been allowed to move within Yellowstone. The data of 2006 amounted to 290 on average the number of vehicles circulating daily in the park during the winter months. This decision creates controversy, especially among senators from Wyoming, which state that the national park there to entertain the Americans. However, previous studies show that the noise of snowmobiles disturbs the bison and other animals in the park. One solution might be to develop ski slopes, this means of locomotion silent respecting both the environment and wildlife, while allowing visitors to get around the park. The snowmobilers are no longer tolerate nowhere ... :sad: :sad:
  9. Yes, it's sound better....but with 1.44.......We are not going very far....LOL In Chaudière-Appalaches...this morning, gaz was at 1.44$/litre. 1 gallon = 3.78 litres = 1.44 x 3.78 = 5.44$/us gallons :wacko:

  13. Hi Qcriders!! Super day today, I made 124km. We have lot of snow. Not a lot of bump and lots of snow! The trails are still beautiful but the signs are no longer there & no more grooming! I hope to beat my last ride of 007 ...... May 2. There mass of snow to beat it this year. Hoooo yeah.... Photo of the day! 55 547 55 547 In the trail....   15. The Snowmobile Club Bellechasse announced the closure of the trails for april 8, 2008. The surfacing will be completed and the signs will be gradually removed during the next two weeks. The snowmobilers who still want to venture will be at their own risk. We expect that the rivers that pass through our territory rise in a few days. Also, the tunnel which passes under Highway 20 in Saint-Vallier will be inundated in a few days. Thank you to all those who visited us at our club house. Good summer to all of you!   17. I Plain! Every trails have been groomed last night! Right now, we have a storm....suppose to receive 20cm to 30cm. So don't worry, you can ride until Gaspésie....if you want to! No rain at all here....juste snow! Pic from our off trail ride last sunday! Let's ride! All the best ! :hi:

  20. In late March or early April. It depends on the snow melt. Regarding for The Massif du Sud, last year I made my last ride on May 5, 2007. SB 2006
