  1. This is what I am hoping for have reservations with Reggie day after xmas 😁.
  2. Got mine and gf permits Tuesday. Almost exactly four weeks.
  3. That's one heck of a prize I need more emails lol
  4. Only a 600 lol
  5. I have not either been two weeks. But I have the email confirmation.
  6. Fredsleds. Me and the girlfriend stayed at Drakkar last year for a night then went to Quebec City. Reggie is a great host and is willing to help with whatever u need. Ours was ordering dinner. We already booked him for two nights this winter two thumbs up.
  7. I understand playhard. I can't get anymore extended weekend's so it's more only choice. And actually last Saturday trails were fairly good. I'm just looking forward to another ride.
  8. Only 2500 for the year headed to my camp on tug Hill this weekend. Not Quebec but still riding.
  9. Never enough miles to get me threw till next season.
  10. Playhard you don't mess around how many miles have you done this year on sled? I'm at 1700 in Quebec and 800 in New York.
  11. I left out of Riviere du loup this morning. Rode 85 south to 544 to 571 to 546 to 35. Just outside rimouski right now all the trails are flat and a few inches of fresh snow😀
  12. My girlfriend has a zr 7000 and just little thing after little thing. Every year it's a grand by the time we're done. Now it needs it's second primary clutch and sled only has 6k miles very disappointed.
  13. The gearing is 22/41 for the storm 150 track. The other tracks are 23/37 so better top end and cruise speeds.
  14. Great news I'm headed up Saturday for a couple days of ridding. Bringing a first timer with me should be perfect for him.
  15. Was thinking of a four-stroke this year for my Quebec rides but from my experience with the maintenance on them and there never seems to be little issues. I think two stroke as long as I can. I personally know a rider that has a 850 skidoo that will be around 10000 miles this year. And that's in one season. His first 850 will be over 12k and be sold off at end of season.. no issue with either of these sleds. Two strokes can last. I am biased towards Polaris myself and that new 850 looks really nice.
  16. It was nice meeting you guys Saturday night at hotel. I would recommend drakkar to anyone. We are already planning a trip and using it as a starting point. Glad your adventure went well.
  17. Just stayed at drakkar last night newer rooms very clean. No restaurant but the have a continental breakfast. Btw snowing like crazy right now
  18. I use qualipieces ice scratchers. They have a small tear drop bracket that has a bolt threw it. The scratchers can't rotate and loosen up. And ends are replaceable.
  19. I always like looking at the new iron. I ride and buy mostly Polaris it has always worked for me and my ridding style. With alot more Quebec miles planned now instead of ridding tug Hill and beating up my body the new turbo has my interest but not at more money than a 850. That is disappointing.
  20. I am heading up to that area on Sunday. Hope it holds up to this warm spell? Snow depth looked good as long as they don't get much rain. Fingers crossed
  21. Sorry about that post apparently I need to proof read better. We met a group of riders that were coming off the detour is how we found it. Imotoneige does not have the detour section. If you are headed south from 100 lacs it is past the 53 intersection. I remember it about 45 miles from 100 lacs. The detour is very new headed towards repos it is a left hand turn. Then the detour comes back to 33 about ten miles from manawan. They are not grooming that section of 33 just the detour. So with more snow it will be easier to spot. Hope this helps you know where it is better. We couldn't believe there wasn't a sign up at each end.
  22. ItMet a group of guys on the trail head that j seeust came through from there. It was fresh cut but groomed. Imontoneige does not show this new trail section.
  23. Rode 33S to Lac du repos. There's a detour on 33S west of Manawan that is not marked. Recommend taking the detour. Lots of plowed road on 33s due to logging.
  24. First day overcast and spiting snow. Decided to head north to parent. Trails were groomed nice and flat a few ticks on the skis. At parent we headed down 13 to fer a cheval. Trails were still in decent shape. We meet up with a huge group of 30 sleds headed north from ste--anne-du -lac. Trails got rougher after meeting with them. We then took the local trail around reservoir mitchinamecus. Trails threw here hadn't been touched by a groomer in awhile. Half way across we crossed into a different club that had been grooming recently. When we got to 33 to get back to 100 lac it was rough. 190 miles for the day. But all is good while fueling up the sleds we saw the groomer going threw the woods 😀
  25. At 100 lac. Place is very nice. Scenery is beautiful. Best part the people who work here understand English very well.
