I seen you three leave PLC Wednesday morning,would have like to met .I was talking to the guy with you riding the Polaris,he was unloading when we arrived.

Are clubs in the area open on Monday and Tuesday now ?Be going through on 19-20th

Yes recommend the b&b ,stayed several times,they also have separate rooms with own bath and a cabin out back .You just have to eat at night at the hotel which is only a mile down the trail.

Easy fix ,have tethers programmed to both sleds.I’ve been dooing this for years.No mixing up tethers.

I see on the interactive trail map that groomers have made a little loop in the Amqui area .Is this just clearing trails or is there enough snow now for grooming?

North shore is nice on 5 but trail from Murdocville to la cache is every bit as nice and not as much traffic ,just hope for blue bird day .If your going out to Perce rock allow lots of extra time that day as trail out and back is usually very slow going .Enjoy the trip .

I wouldn’t worry about making the whole loop as the interior trails have less traffic and usually in great condition.Hotels will depend on how busy and weather and trail conditions.I usually make reservations but several times switched during trip because of weather.Last year was busy and Covid had some service’s reduced at hotels and clubs .

Looks like devastating tree damage in your region .Trails must have taken a real hit .

The bar was the only thing open when I was there in November.Forecast for this area is not good so maybe end of January it will be doable there .

In Matane stay at the Quality Inn ,way better to sled to then Riotel .Great food and breakfast is included.Gas and dealers right down the trail from Motel.

Just wondering which trails are a must and points of interest to try and see when in this are.

Drove from Quebec City to Nova Scotia on Tuesday,lots of white stuff on the ground around Degalis until well past Edmunston NB with more on the way tonight.

Stayed at Universal Nov 10th ,major Reno at restaurant end .Restaurant was closed only bar was open .Breakfast is being served in conference rooms.Completion date is April 2023.

I found Windigo,73 would be the trail if staying there when leaving St Raymond

Thanks for option’s and feedback ,which route out of St Raymond is better the 23 or the 155 ?Just received my map for the area and looking it over.Where is the Windigo located?

What are some of the must sees ?

Sounds good ,I’m waiting on maps from the area ,I do have trakmaps for my gps.I was thinking late February early March ,probably start sledding on a Monday.

Wife and I are planning our first trip to this region this season.Looking for some info on lodging and trail recommendations.We are trucking from Nova Scotia and was considering unloading in Quebec City .Planning on going around LSJ and around to Casino in .Plan on sledding 5 days 150-200 miles a day is not an issue.We’ve done Gaspie Bay to Levi’s several times .So want to try a new area .Been there in summer ,beautiful county .Any information would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.
