  1. I have never had anyone question my registration in New Hampshire...I have a boat that I use only in New Hampshire...so I also register it there and not in Mass. Seems like the right thing to do if I am using it there...you can always transfer it to a mass registration in the future.
  2. The deal is that we are buying a trail pass in Quebec..and insurance...I think it's a legal issue...if anything happens ...and you are not actually registered somewhere...lawyers and law enforcement will be all over you...kind of like your car....I never ride in Mass...bought my sled in New Hampshire...no sales tax...and I register it there...to cover my ass.
  3. yes communicators and music built in...very nice feature....early troubles with heated visors is a thing of the past...field of vision is very good...it's basically a heated helmet and built in neck protection is nice...a lot of people like the front opening of modular, it's convenient but mine kept icing up the latches and would not open on very cold days...like everything else...new technology costs money...and everyone today thinks every job is suppose to afford them everything that those with a lot of skill and sweat have...and walla...that also costs money... the light on the back is a great safety feature and is often visible when the tail lite isn't...unfortunately it looks like the future is becoming more expensive...or less affordable ...depending on how you want to view it....and this sport was pricy to begin with
  4. And the oxygen helmet is a much better helmet....this may be a price point situation
  5. only on line...and dealers in the states are pissed ...they are not offering that discount at the dealer...I was at the dealer in New Hampshire today
  6. Great report...I always love seeing that sign welcoming us to Quebec...hope people can stay on the trail...and that message is always on display
  7. 100 Lacs… never let me down … nice place… they get it there
  8. Great ride...and absolutely one of the best parts of riding Quebec has always been the hospitality and camaraderie at days end over dinner and drink....this current situation is a real issue...all government created...rest assured these idiots who won't work are going to wake up one day and realize they have nothing in their wallet but a bunch of broken political promises...and I will never feel bad for them. Great report!!
  9. And it's amazing how far they have come there in the last 10 years
  10. Nice ride last time I did it a few weeks before covid shut down...big drifts and very windy half way across started thinking this was a mistake...it's a great adventure...but I'm not doing it alone again!!
  11. Eva is a great stop and definitely has a very good restaurant...very popular dining spot for locals as well.
  12. After 4 decades we know what works… it’s a unique opportunity with a decent off season brook trout fishing operation with customers, and not a lot of money to buy it… with the right group… completely doable
  13. Like a private sportsmans club
  14. Very interesting idea.. that location has an enormous potential… and that would really be an incredible idea
  15. I'm really hoping to read a post that says something friendly and welcoming sooner than later...everything we hear these days seems to have negative consequences for the 98 percent of us who do our best to conform and behave properly...I'm OK with enforcement when it doesn't impede folks properly going about their way...but constantly being checked or pulled over without probable cause just because you are driving by....some of these check points have a long line and 99.9 percent are just fine
  16. Great info Don, many thanks
  17. Our Zec… so Nancy owns this area… have a nice day… shit show for sure… and she isn’t much of a public relations director… so hunters fisherman and slender are the problem… and we will charge them to pass on OUR property…classic not in my back yard… going to take government involvement to fix this and pressure from businesses… and she isn’t trying to be a public relations director…. Intentionally
  18. Hell of a reply… we have big plans for the future…I’m not sure it’s private land… some kind of public area… but this kind of rhetoric… paying to pass on both ways??? More than a money grab for sure… more like trying to persuade you to go elsewhere… some reasonable oversight is needed here for sure… and the precedent is terrible
  19. pledges and sled stickers will not stop 5%, but sled seizures, registration confiscation and 5 year bans will do it, all this program is going to do is make everyone aware 95% of us are not the problem and do something to help prevent us from becoming the victims of there behavior...if we just sit around ...we are done.
  20. I once had a guy in my group of 7 or 8...20 years old...I was the last guy and sleds were coming at me all day on the hammer even around corners...then on the second day I noticed this clown giving everyone the closed fist that went by...I asked him what the hell he was doing that for...he said..ride on brother...he had no idea that meant...there's nobody behind me...evidently everyone else knew what it meant. That's why I ride out in the bush, were the serious riders are and no traffic.
  21. Like buried stumps and rocks, 50 miles from nowhere??
  22. Everyone should be putting a gps tracking device on their sled.., actually should come from the factory with one….can’t wait to be present when a group of riders catches one of these guys
  23. Thank you for putting this up Steve, Bob
  24. I have taken the pledge on line at bombadier
