  1. Intersection of 595 and local trail just west of Lac Blanc?
  2. Sweet new Pisten Bully. Complete with a hedge trimmer that means business...
  3. I was using the OTTP ski mounted. Not sure they dropped the temps any. I liked the idea of “reversible” . Do the Doo ones have to be raised when in reverse? I can just see myself forgetting in the parking lot at the Forestel...lol...there is always seems to be a crowd watching from the rooms.
  4. Interesting take. I would like to snow check this spring and thought I was sold on the 1.25 ice ripper, but you bring up a good point about prevailing conditions depending on region/grooming schedule. Packed vs. powder. I have run the 1.25 ice ripper on the last 2 1200’s. The one before that had true studs with the 84 pattern on double backers each, so 168 down the middle. Definitely hooked up better than the ice ripper, but the wear and tear on idler wheels got sickening. Granted it was a 120” vs. a 137” skid. I believe Thinksno might have a good point about the scratchers if I do opt for the 1.5/1.6 whichever is offered next spring. Keep the cometary coming about 1.25 vs. 1.6. I would like to know what you guys are running on your 900T’s.
  5. It’s no Lolo’s in Lacolle, but they do use cheese curds in the poutine at border view. He’s even got a huge yard with diesel pumps now too.
  6. Well we could have a QR reminiscing party in Pittsburgh NH. Trail heads up into Chartierville QC. We could make a “run” for it...or should I say a ride for it up north...just saying
  7. Mike I was thinking about you on Wednesday. I saw the RCMP helicopter taking off from Plattsburgh. I think they were giving your info to the border patrol. We better make sure our route is planned out well so we can hop across and blend in on TQ 55 quickly. 👍
  8. I agree, the sheer number of people out on the trail seems like it would cause unrest with the locals. The amount of money pouring into the pockets of business owners only goes so far to appease the general population. The amount of noise, dust and traffic created by the trail system running through cottage country makes for a lot of unhappy people. Our group kept the speed down in respect of landowners. As per usual, a few bad apples ruin the lot. When we stopped in Errol, I heard a local man utter to himself “what happened to Errol”. Cote’s was packed at the time. As with most enjoyable things, NIMBY applies here. I don’t blame them, I enjoy motorsports, however I don’t think I would enjoy listening to that shit all day when I am at camp relaxing on a weekend. NIMBY: Not In My Back Yard
  9. Went to “ride the wilds” in N.H. last weekend. Took off from Gorham and ended up having lunch at the buck rub in Pittsburgh. The snack shack definitely has a grand view.
  10. Met Alain & Krikri in the chic chics
  11. When I am going through lack of throttle therapy I look at my old pics and remember the fun times. Let’s share some pics
