yes if you have your own insurance you can apply for the rebate unless you are a resident of Quebec If you go go the FCMQ site under the trail permit tab there will be an insurance link. Follow that and it will process the application.

I was wondering if we needed to upgrade as well. Also I believe last year there was an issue with some clubs/groomers and beacons? for tracking. Anyone know if this was or is resolved for this winter. I know last season I stayed away from some areas thinking there was no recent grooming.
