  1. It is still early, but I bet many of us are starting to think about a Quebec trip already. A friend of mine, many of you have got to know as Diesel, called saying he has 10 days in early February. How many of you are talking to your sled Buddies picking dates for a multiday snowmobile adventures?
  2. Good timing, right before sled season!!
  3. Stayed there a couple years ago with Andyman and a couple other sledheads. Nice spot, looked like a very secure parking area too. The only negative I have on the place is lugging all your bags and gear up and down the elevator, a person always seems to get over heated.
  4. That is a big boat!!! Not many of them in New Hampshire Bill!! LOL
  5. Cool!! First snow pics!!
  6. Please contact Rob or one of the administrators if you want to sell products on the site. You have to be set up as an Advertiser.
  7. I believe technology is starting to catch up to the clubs with large memberships and not doing much grooming. The matrixes for many grooming equalization rebates are being partially based on actual groomer hours, that are backed up by real verified GPS tracks. GPS units are on most Groomers that leave crumb trails, provincial organizations now can check where, when, and how fast the groomer traveled.
  8. Everyone likes a discount, however it takes a lot of money to run a provincial trail network. Lots more discounts would be nice but wont pay the bills. In three months the complaints will start about not enough grooming, signage, brush cutting etc. Trail permits are what help pay for all these things. Snowmobiling never has nor, never will be a sport for saving money. Grumpy I am not in anyway bashing your post, just my opinion.
  9. Guess I have a collectors item too!!
  10. Those are funny!!! Arctic Cat always have great "Waiting for Winter" posters. That is the first time I have seen a video for it.
  11. The 1200 just keeps going and going. I have over 30,000 kilometers on mine and with exception of putting on the PB clutch have done nothing other then routine maintenance. Some wheels and bearing on the skid, a few sets of slides and carbides.
  12. What year is the sled?
  13. Good point Mike! I don't remember this "Pete" fellow pushing me out of the way to pull start the cold blooded Rouseau Iron on cold mornings.
  14. The 1200 2010 Doo had clutch issues, I believe it was fixed the next year. I replaced my stock clutch after the second failure and installed a Power Block. I have 14,000 miles on my PB 80, it has worked flawlessly!!
  15. Congratulations Tim on being the first QuebecRider member to be riding this season!
  16. Without saying anything negative, I would make sure you find a launching spot that does have secure parking. The Colibri also has secure parking, however the 4 Seasons is certainly a little higher end spot.
  17. Very nice bike silhouette in the sunset. The last one of the camp is also very impressive.
  18. Cool stuff can be found in the back corners of wood lots.
  19. I agree with Ray, 6". 8" would be in my opinion would be too aggressive, unless you are running a 154" Expedition.
  20. We are getting that weather tomorrow, forecast high is 29°.
  21. Very nice sunset pic Jean Guy.
  22. Have a great day Ray! Happy Birthday.
  23. Looks like you are having a good fall for moose sitings. Cutting wood 5 miles from the camp, cutovers promote good moose habitate. Good news.
  24. Check your piggy bank groomer, you can buy a Ponsse Scorpion for about $800,000! No worries about heat, humidity or cold then!!
