Doesn't look too bad for you Jean Guy, there is still snow covering the ground and your temperatures are dropping tonight. All you need now is an old fashion 2 foot snow storm to cover the base that is left.

Well if it stays at 30° all will be good there. It doesn't look like the mild weather is going g to last as long as they were predicting earlier, that is good news.

I had this article emailed to me yesterday, too bad. Anytime I have been in that area it certainly appeared there was enough business for both to survive. Their energies would be better spent advertising to bring even more sledders to the area.

Where the whole machine is burnt it looks like a fuel related fire, electrical fires are often more centralized. Plus, it looks like it is sitting beside the fuel drum, that would be a strange spot to drag it into if it burned somewhere else.

Holy!! That is a write-off for sure! Looks like the blade and the track system might be the only things salvaged.

I see on the trail conditions site from the Chandler club some small sections are open. A small stretch around Chandler and Gaspe are showing in yellow. These were updated as of yesterday, Saturday. Hopefully tonight of tomorrow will show more positive colors and less red trails.

Trust me, the bounce sheet is better than if mice had nested in there. Good news on the PALC groomer being out. From the sounds of the forecast anything with a groomed base should stand the warm temperatures better.
