  1. Thanks for the replies, lads. I did get an address and sent off a snail-mail a couple of days ago. If I find anything of interest i'll post. timbo
  2. a couple of blocks away....... in the village.
  3. thanx for the shout back, markusvt. I don't recall ever seeing anyone that posted Chez Rolland here, either. When I've stopped in the past, there were lots of sledders, there, all Quebecquois. Mayhaps Towing might catch this tread and have as little insight for me.
  4. Gents Anyone stayed (or enjoyed a toot; or dined) at the Hotel Chez Rolland in Saint Ubalde recently??? Looking for a little info/insite. timbo
  5. for Cent Lacs try: 47.44927/74.71341 info@100lacs.net. 877-440-4545 (works half the time), 819-440-4545 New owner is Paul Ouimett. Anytime you are homing in on the (forest roads) from a considerable distance, look for Lac Adonis.
  6. Mebbee you had the "mobile commode seat option"???? that make em a little heavier in the stern????
  7. JG Great pic of the "Triangle" where the rivers intersect!!! hope all is well. timbo
  8. We have "the Moth". Some of our nearby mountainsides here in central PA are near totally denuded. Not pretty. Not good. Timbo
  9. That's not fair, Ray, if you arrive via your "182"!!!! Enjoy the north woods.
  10. Nice Pic, Pipe! Wanted the QR lads to be aware that the fantastic pics you posted are there for all snowmobilers to see, as the snowmobile trail runs right along the rim in this area. The stream is Pine Creek which runs south to the West Branch of the Susquehanna.
  11. That's right, Ice. We've broken the back of summer. The days grow shorter. The nights grow cooler. Soon, that most blessed of seasons will be upon us and we will be traversing a winter wonderland in white.
  12. The "Ring Dang Doo, now what is that? It's round and fat like a Bowler Hat. It's good for me, and it's good for you, and it's what they call the Ring Dang Doo". Thanks for the memories, Bernard.
  13. I'm so glad he took the "selfie", so that we were sure it was indeed Groomer taking the pics. timbo
  14. "Back in the Day" two of the greatest ambassadors for Quebec Snowmobiling were Bernard at the Safari and Gaetan Aubin at the Cuillere a Pot. Those guys introduced so many US snomobilers(and a shit-load of Canadians) to trails in La Belle Province. Some of you with gray hair may remember "The Devil's Tour" where Gaetan organized four other Hoteliers to set up the first loop tour through Lenaudiere, Laurentides and Outaouais. Camille at the St Michel "Sawmill", Real Masse, Crazy accordion playing Pierre at the sugar shack near Entrelacs, La Glaciere, etc, etc. All good memories! Back in the day way cigarettes were way expensive, I enjoyed sitting in Bernard's office talking with him. I did not have to "light up"
  15. Great Info, JG. Thanks for reporting the specs.. timbo
