thanks for the pics,you ever hear from bob?does he still ride? it is true when you discover snowmobiling in quebec its hard to ride anywhere else. its great only living a short distance from the best trail system on planet earth.

i spoke to richard at meckinac on tuesday night and he said they had snow and the pipeline had been groomed last weekend but the warm temps that they had was melting snow FAST.with temps in the high 30's low 40's all the way to lac stjean we decided to cancel our trip.

what plans did you decide on?

thanks viper, is there a good safe place to start from in latuque?how about relay 22 no problems starting there? are you talking about 83 west to sennetere and then part of 93 then coming back the same way or going all the way around to chiougamau to st felician

no problem,keeping my fingers crossed that the snow is going to hold up.

north to reberval or st felician,the route depending on conditions,i will be talking to richard tonight for an update on conditions. he has riders leaving today to go that way and will be able to give an update.

we are doing the same,starting at richards on thurs or friday for a loop thru sunday.

hey mccaffrey,i have been in contact with richard from mechinac and he says that there is good conditions north of latuque to roberval and west of the lake.he also says that the pipeline (355 north) from mechinac to lac eduard was groomed and is good.

when were these pics taken? where is marmite?

thanks groomer, iam hoping to ride that area 3/4-3/7.forecasts show possible rain,will have to wait and see.
