Mid Range Posted February 12, 2011 Report Share Posted February 12, 2011 We're in Roberval.....left Maniwaki thursday morning.Took 13 north then 322 thru Baskatong Reservoir and back on 13 til st-anne du lac.Trails were top notch.St-anne til JB Scott 10/10. JB Scott til lunic.Twisty 7/10 lunic to 100 lacs 10/10 100 lacs until you get to Parent road near the Hydro-Québec Power Plant.+- 25 miles is very twisty.Then from there to Parent 10/10 Friday morning Parent-Wemotaci 10/10 Wemotaci-Relais 22 10/10.That stretch was freshly groomed. Relais 22-Roberval was in top shape as well except that 6 miles of plowed road with lots of rocks.This is 25 miles north of the 22. All I can say is we are facing some awesome trail conditions so far.Parent to Roberval..the 83 was in top shape.Temps are perfect as well Maniwaki-Parent 231 miles Parent-Roberval 232 miles Heading out to Chibougamau monday morning.Supposed to get mild later next week even in Abitibi We will have a 2 day rest here and spend times with relatives. We are thinking of leaving from Albany, NY Wednesday to ride Thursday,Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Do you have any suggestions for best conditions? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. We saw you on the 83 about 20 miles before Relais 22 for you or 20 after for us.
