benz500
Starting at Four Points Sheraton just above QCity in Charlesbourg and going to the KM 31. We can go 2 ways from my understanding and approx. same mileage give or take 20-30 miles. First idea: #3 to #369 to #23 to #368 to #383 to Jonquiere area pick up #367 to #93 East to the Auberge KM 31. via-explora says 229. miles. Anyone know conditions on these trails? Trip is Feb 12. Second Idea: Starting at Four Points get on # 3 all the way up past Casino to Ferry- cross to Tadoussac continue on #3 to #93 west to the Auberge Km31. Approx. 250 ish miles. My concern from other posts is that # 3 can get intense- last 30 miles to the ferry crossing if trails are not just groomed. Meaning lots of turns and twists. Also, most importantly- GAS along either route???? Thank you for any suggestions/input, and of course riders done either of these routes fairly recently. dooright
If you take the 3/93 route , top off with fuel at the Coronet just after you pick up the 93 then your good to make the run to Km31 no problem.
Flyin Brian
I'd do 3 to 93. You can get gas just short of Clermont at the Polaris Dealer, then make it Sacre Couer/Hotel Coronet and gas up there and be good to KM 31. Even though this mileage is longer than going through L'Etape I believe it will be just as quick because the trails is faster especially on 3 about the Sagueney River. benz500
Probably about 110 miles from Sheraton Four Points to the gas you speak of just before Clermont??
dooright
There are lots of gas options along Tq 3 until you get to saint simeon , after that not so much. Edited February 1, 2014 by dooright
