lkauff
Does anyone know if there is a safe place to park rig if we drive to Rapides and do a loop out on 43 to Temiscaming then Lasarre and work our way back through Le Verndaye? also how far or long by car from Ottawa is it to Rapides Des Joachims? lkauff
Thank you both very much. Is trail 43 usually maintained well headed west? Any gas along the way?

snowfarmer
Yes that's right no gas until Kipawa . It's one of those trails if it has been groomed no problem if you didn't carry extra gas you should make it ( we did) but hit it with a bunch of fresh snow and then it could be a different story. If something happens and you don't carry a satellite phone ,cell phone service is next to nothing in this neck of the woods.
