blaze
Hey everyone new to this site for postings but been following for years. Looking to come up Thursday night and starting at The Governer. Leaving Friday morning to head to the Delta, would like to come up the 23 trail through the park, is that the best way? And if so, how many miles approximately? Leave Saturday morning for another destination about 200 miles. Then heading bac k to the Governor on Sunday any suggestions on where to stay Saturday night? Thanks everyone for the help!
revct1
Welcome to QuebecRider Blaze. From Roquemont in St Raymond to the Delta in Jonquiere should be about 185 miles via 23, 368, 383. 23 is usually groomed over two days Thursday and Friday. Which Hotel Governor? blaze
The Governer in Shawinigin. Looking for a place Saturday night. Thanks!
PLAYHARD
Pierre at the Gouv said he hadn't seen any sledders yet, nor heard from the club, but the bridge out is "groomed" and there are sticks on the ice. Maybe give these guys the business, and it's closer to the gas: http://www.aubergemoteldrakkar.com/ We just did this (in reverse) and it's SUPER-DUPER: Shawinigan thru St Raymond & L'Etape to Delta is 250mi, nice day 1. Then go northwest over the lake (take gas in Girardeville), go up & over Lac a Jim and stay at Chateau Roberval 200ish mi. Then day 3 down the 355 "Pipeline" etc is 225mi...http://www.viaexplora.com/snowmobile/index.html?attraits=&unit=mi&lat=47.694269&lng=-71.938814&zoom=7&force=1&ewaypoints=4654334,-7275407,186048,158231,67050,-146874,-32798,4312,-24691,37491,-195751,-54190&cst=1.0,1.01,1.05&csts=1.0&cstr=1.01&spd=50000,50000,50000
PLAYHARD
Day 3, if you take gas in Lac Edouard then St Joseph you can skip La Tuque and cut the corner on the MINT trail connecting 73 & 355 under Lac Wayagamac. If the 110'ish from Roverval to Lac Edouard is too far, top off in 30 miles @ Lac Bouchette. Edited January 22, 2017 by PLAYHARD

PLAYHARD
East on 93 & over the Saguenay to take the ferry can be a fun photo-opp. Then (depending on budget) drop down to Fairmont Manoir Richelieu, or continue to Baie St Paul. http://www.viaexplora.com/snowmobile/index.html?attraits=&unit=mi&lat=47.403914&lng=-71.301264&zoom=7&force=1&ewaypoints=4654334,-7275407,186048,158231,-17354,138825,-60647,-36062,-18167,-37134,-94416,-220359&cst=1.0,1.01,1.05&csts=1.0&cstr=1.01&spd=50000,50000,50000 Trail 3 thru the Quebec City area can get crowded & whooped, especially on weekends, but that's the only connector. That's probably why my first thought was to run the LSJ northwest DELICIOUSNESS thru Girardville & Lac a Jim on the 93.

PLAYHARD
I haven't stayed there yet, but Reggie @ Drakkar has already made a great impression on many folks here, so Bernard's haunting must be having a positive effect!
blaze
Sounds good. It looks nice. Bernard was such a great guy. He had a positive effect on a lot of people I think in the sport.

The interactive map requires the latest browser versions. Many people have newer browsers on their phones and tablets these days. blaze
