Early Rider, Went to km 31 yesterday  for an exploratory few days in search of rideable snow. Looks like he found it! Rob reported that so far conditions seen to be good,  a little on the light side going south, but very adequate in the km 31 area. He put on a quick 70 miles after getting there yesterday afternoon. More explorations today towards Onatchaway.

It won't be long!

Think RR

A crisp morning today at km31

Where are these very lucky guys starting point.

This usually was the norm, sledding on the American Thanksgiving in Mt Valin.  However the last few years it hasn't been something that could be taken for granted.  Good to see the boys finding some white stuff.  Be sure to share some pictures with us snow deprived sledders.

Haha, yeah 6 times I had to "refresh" myself before 11am, whatever horrible concoction of poutine, red wine, and grand mariner I had I won't ever have again on one night!

Early rider and themainer put on 500 miles from Thursday mid day to yesterday, they are heading back without a Sunday am ride after loosing a heat exchanger on one sled and the back up sled is stuck in RER mode.

The bigger crew is heading up this Thursday to give it another go and Early rider will be coming back as well.

Looking good boyz, keep the reports coming.

That Freeride Extreme looks real sweet on the snow.

I think it needs More Lights!!!

We arrived at km 31 this afternoon.  Put on a quick 80 miles.  No grooming yet east of km31 but a great 4 to 6" base with 6 to 8" of powder on top.  More exploring tomorrow. 20171130_142234.thumb.jpg.d278fe600752a84f971b0b5710c3b289.jpg20171130_142208.thumb.jpg.ef8364ae1551bea5ebb4d0d662587033.jpg

What skis are you running on that Freeride RR?  Safe travels.
