Madeleine bridge snowmobile shuttle
Trails were in great shape from the big storm and groomed but it was super windy again and more snow drifts appeared in the clearings. All passable and actually fun to ride.

Madeleine bridge snowmobile shuttle
Maybe a little late on the response for the OP but we just used the shuttle last week. Just rolled up to the end of the trail and the guy was there with a truck and trailer. Drove in and he took us down the road. Super easy and quick. Trip takes 5 min so maybe a little wait if there are a bunch in your group. Trailer should hold 4 sleds...

Saguenay day ride suggestions?
Thanks for the route suggestions. We ended up at the Delta for 5 nights (3/11-3/15) and had 4 great rides. 1st day was to the Chapelle and out to a lookout for a spectacular view and back to the Delta. Hardly anyone on the trails and conditions were quite good. Lots of pavement at the delta but still not too bad. 2nd ride we went down to Mt Apica for another great view. Took the green 368 back to the south side of Saguenay and it was PERFECT. What a great ride. 3rd day we went up to Onatchiway and over to the new bridge on 373. Also checked out the Lac Lamothe cave along the way. Lots of groomed trails all day. Getting much thinner from the dam to the delta now.. 4th day we went back up to Valin and went up the 251 Bras louis I think, I was chatting to my son on the communicator how this is the best trail EVER and we came across a plowed section maybe 2 miles long and it was just chunky rocks. After that is was awesome again. The last 10 miles back to the Delta was a lot of snirt so we called it a trip. I took the same picture of that same tilted Bras Louis sign 15+ years ago with that same sled next to it. Time flies. I will say the Delta has lost a little snowmobiling magic since Saguenay Bill was not there....

Zec Martin Valin
I registered for the ZEC site but did not complete an "activity" yet and was wondering what you get for a record when you do? Will they email a receipt to show an agent if needed or do I have to print something out?

Saguenay day ride suggestions?
We were thinking of heading to the Delta 3/12-3/16 and need some suggestions for day rides about 175mi. Last couple times I was there I had the luxury of just following Saguenay Bill around so I am not sure where we even went. An overnight away for the Delta would be good too if it makes sense. It's been 15+ years since riding there. I remember we went to some caves, of course Relais la Chapelle, and the "something" express trail... I have been reading the drama with the Zec permits so I am aware about that. Thoughts?

Suggested route
Just to finish up the report the ride back was great as well. Took a little bit of TQ5 before dropping town to TQ35 then to 557 to Pamphile. Took a small detour and went through the Parc du Massif Sud to the lookout then to St Sabine for late lunch. There was a good view from the lookout tower.

Great ride today to RDL from beauce. 55 was perfect to pamphile, 557 north was ungroomed but had lots of fresh powder making it the best trail of the day. 526 in to RDL was great too. Hopefully tomorrow is just as good!!

Hi All, We are doing a 2 day ride from Beauce to RDL and back this weekend. Any thoughts on TQ55 vs TQ35 Vs TQ5? right now? Maybe out one way and back another? Normally I wouldnt even think about it but with the warm weather maybe one way is better? Any idea if there more snow toward the river or toward Maine right now? Any tips appreciated...

Successful trip to the Gaspe!!
Yes we were there Thursday. We got in late due to the moose that day. I used to have a Quebec rider sticker on my windshield which helped generate conversation. I should put a new one one....

Towing's Gaspesia vacation 2022 pics trip report
I had heard from the groomer driver they think she was looking for her babies who may have died. It is really strange for her not to just dip off the trail for a minute like most other moose encountered.

Towing's Gaspesia vacation 2022 pics trip report
We encountered the moose last Thursday 25-30 miles north of La Cache and she would just NOT move off trail. 2 hours later the groomer came by and that was still not enough for her to just move off trail.. She ended up running next to the groomer and passed by all the sleds. No doubt it we pushed her on sleds she would have charged. Scary to see one coming at you!!!
