  1. I'm liking it!!! In an effort to carry gas AND oil I just ordered some rotopax's and a tunnel mount from White Out Technologies (for a Doo shorty). In theory it'll work....should know in about a week.
  2. Looks good. I've always liked the Rotopax. Did you have the mount custom made or was it off the shelf??
  3. Central Bucks County.....Yamaha's cost extra to tow....
  4. Thx. The boxes work great for storing extra locks, misc trailer parts etc.... It's been a while but I think I got them at the link below. http://pitproducts.com/collections/accessory-storage
  5. Finally got it fitted out and ready for battle. Painted floor Installed painted walls (1/2" fir plywood) Track mats and ski guides Dedicated farm jack Extra tie downs Etc.... Probably have 15 hours into it, and I'd rather not think about the cost. One final touch will be the SNOGOER vanity license plate....
  6. I have a 2014 X (not XRS) shorty. All black spring order
  7. No more ugly sticker on the side (think I have a new location) and I got rid of the man purses. If you struggled last year to keep up, you're really in trouble this year!!!
  8. The sled was fine.....the rider, well that's another story!!!
  9. Heard good things about a place in Saint Felicien...but can't recall the name of the place. I'm sure Bill will chime in with it's name. We stayed at the Chateau Roberval last year. Easy access to the trail (373), sleds parked under tent, decent place. If you're going around the lake, trail 93 goes way up (northwest) beyond the lake. On the map you'll see some "orange" trails that cut across......shortening the route around the lake. We ended up taking 93 further northwest (towards Girardville) rather than taking a shorter route via one of the orange trails....and I'm so glad we did.....that riding was a blast with low traffic when we were there.
  10. Will do. Whether it's me or other's here I'm sure as the trails open and discussions here intensify I'm sure opportunities will open up. Yeah the Buffalo situation makes me want to inhale some two stroke more then ever....just need some consistent cold to settle in.
  11. Don't know my schedule yet. Really hoping for something last minute in Jan then something better planned in Feb/Mar. I'm eager to go, very eager!!!
  12. Often times drive to St. Raymond....then saddle bag north towards lake St. Jean, Mt. Valin, etc..... Two years prior started in Zenon and looped out to Val Dor and back. Kinda depends on conditions but always looking to go further out. Depending on conditions and a little luck, try to avg 200+ miles per day.
  13. Here's a ProLine IS716 (2 place inline)......just got it this week. Nice trailer. I had it shipped to within two hours of me....and the two hours I towed it home it was great at 70-75 mph, empty of course. Now the fun begins....painting interior floor, ski guides/track mats, etc etc etc...
  14. I had the same experience this year at the York, PA show. The momentum is off to a good start this year!!!
  15. Mine's coming from NH. They utilize someone from NH for deliveries and net/net, especially given my near-term schedule, it's better for me to have it delivered. Actually I'm meeting him near Scranton, PA to save him some driving and it's only 2 hours (4 round trip) for me. Delivery to your cabin may be simpler for you??? Their prices are listed on their website. I added elec brakes to the single axle and aluminum wheels (I like the bling). Of course I have to pay PA sales tax once I register it here. http://www.nhtrailers.com/ Edit: I ordered mine in early Oct and the lead time was ~6 weeks. Not sure what the current lead time would be. I got the IS 716.
  16. I ordered a ProLine (inline 2 place). My reasoning for buying from ProLine was: 1) Favorable feedback heard from other's about ProLine 2) Also based on feedback from other's, the larger companies, especially today seem to be giving up some quality in the name of mass production/economies of scale.....as you eluded to with Triton above (I have the same opinion of Triton as you noted above). 3) As a family owned and operated business, PL appears to bring a certain level of passion/commitment to their products that sometimes is lacking in bigger companies....and hopefully that is reflected in the longer-term quality of the product. For better or worse, that was my reasoning. I ordered mine based off their website, and I'll probably have it delivered.....so sight unseen and expect it mid-Nov. Good luck.
  17. More from two seasons ago.... 386 South out of Val d'Or 83 Westbound....
