  7. I kid you not. When I walked in and unsuited and sat down at the table she comes out with it in band. I said..... how could you possibly....she said the cook saw me come screaming across the parking lot going for the gas pump and figured he would beat me to the punch Back at LeCabanon well before dark and we didn't leave Parent till 1030 Saw 6 sleds the entire way. No one from Repos all the way to LeCabanon parking lot. It was like a ghost town. Love it when everyone stays home because it's a little chilly out 1500 mile week of super sweet trails Sled at Gero's again getting secondary clutch spring and bearing
  8. Now that’s SOME FUNNY SHIT At Kanawata beautiful blue sky run here from Parent. trails like a bowling alley. Have seen NO ONE
  9. Tabernac......glad it worked out.....always seems to. I’m sure being from Sodus area you personally probably know the whole story by now but I just got more info from Mac Stringer and his son who are over at the Central so I’m gonna share this story with everyone here. Back home near Rochester NY area a guy lost his arm in a snowmobile accident earlier this week. Word was he hit a yield sign after being ejected from the sled. Always sad to here something like this happen but here is the rest of the story. this guy is riding alone (and drunk). When he hit the sign it COMPLETELY ripped his arm off at the shoulder, snowmobile jacket and all laying there in the snow. Guy walks a MILE to a bar. Dosnt go in the bar but stands outside. When people come running out he says “don’t call the cops, I’m drunk, call my wife. Needless to say...they went and got his arm but word is they couldn’t successfully reattach it. And I thought I was a tuff guy. Im a pussy
  10. Blueblood......why only 3 in your group yesterday whats going on with the 900 turbo ??
  11. Yeah.....picked up 2 guys from Pa on two older Yamahas. One was a 2007 and the other a 2011 other than some codes popping up on one and the other that got “rolled” bending the handlebars and steering post they made it from Desmairsville back to Parent with us. They are heading back to their truck today in Senneterre and we to LeCabanon
  12. At the Central having coffee and I’m a little “foggy” this a.m. Blueblood......I seriously don’t remember passing anyone from Wemo to Halta late yesterday afternoon but if you say so........LOL did I look like I was on a “mission”. ??
  13. I’m sure “somebody, sometime, on some machine” had an actual better clocked time than me......... but for this afternoon/evening I hold the land speed record between Wemo and Haltaparache. it was a physical and mental workout. right before dark at Haltaparache here in Parent very chilly tonight
  14. Ice so glad to see you guys are enjoying the great trails and working through whatever obstacles get in the way some of the things we all have to overcome to get back to the truck still amaze me now, don’t shoot the messenger Ice .....but we came across this at Scerie 54 yesterday on the gas pump whatever douchebag it was was “creative” at least...... in st Felecien this morning and heading to the “22” and then taking the road to the Gouin to go see André & Jeanie”s camp that own the L”hombre du Vent in Parent

Got the other half all wrapped in tin foil and pulling the BRP 1200 muffler trick with it when we get to Sciere 54

  17. Just showed my buddies the place outside of Chibougamau that I visited back in December and this is the “thanks” I get from them up at the top.......ZOOM IN
  18. We are McDonalds in Chibougamau right now. Wind and snow picking up hard. Going to blast to Sciere 54 and into St Felicien for the night...God willing.
  19. You ain’t kidding. After the crappy section the trail down to LeFer Cheval is one sweet ass trail. is the beaver still dropping trees on the trail ?
  20. Standing outside the hotel Opemiska last night around 9:30h having a smoke I got some real local entertainment. some dude in a clapped out S10 pickup with a loud exhaust was doing laps and power slides right down main st and onto the side roads for about 10 minutes straight. It was sorts like being at a NASCAR event. i guess when the nearest cop is in Chibougamau you can get away with this kinda shit God I love Quebec
  21. Ok...... At Chapais tonight.... first off fuel at Repos.....all I know is my two buddies started acting up with exact same symptoms within 50 miles of leaving there. They filled up there and I only threw in 20 bucks. Two days later (and many refills) they seem to be back to normal. Bluebloods”s group with the acting up 900 Turbo rental was the 3rd suspect from Repos gas. When we left the dealer this morning they supposedly said it was a bad coil and taking on off a new sled to fix. But when I saw them very briefly in Desmairsville they said that the dealer said that coil was bad too. I call bullshit on that matter but what do I know. Weather or not there was at least a shot of bad gas that came out of Repos (and I still firmly believe there was) one will actually never know. I know it could happen anywhere at anytime and this year is bad with temperature swings and above ground tanks. My oil leak is another conundrum. After further thinking and spending time in the shop with the mechanic on my problem I now believe that Gero wasn’t the cause of the problem. I changed the oil and chain case service at 500 miles. I remember having trouble with my torque wrench setting and possibly over tightened it. I backed it off and reset it at spec. No trouble for 4000 miles. When the mechanic (40 years there at AB Sports) looked and “scoped” everything you could see a small section where the crush ring sits that was worn/broken away. Case was NOT cracked. We wound up making a thicker aluminum washer to fill the small void and I’m back in business. After rethinking the whole thing the guy at Gero problably did his job right and when he dropped the plug the little piece that was crushed around the circumstance fell out and left a small void. Trail from Senneterre to Chapais today was like a bowling alley the whole way. Saw two groomers pass us and two sleds the whole way.
  22. See you at 8:30 at the dealer Gero Motoneige in St Jean de Matha couldn’t get an oil change done right and I’m weeping oil at the rate of 1 quart per 300 miles out and making a fuc$@ing mess everywhere. it is coming out (weeping) around the drain plug and yes I checked that it’s tight. I know from doing many 1200 oil changes myself (NEVER) a problem that torque is something like 42 ft lbs hopefully a quick fix then the three of us are blasting to Chapais
  23. I know never had a problem there. Guess it could happen anywhere at anytime especially with these tanks out in the bush
