  1. Super cool! I was blind to the fact until half-way thru when I noticed that he was blind!
  2. Très humoristique! We all know you have a great way with words, but maybe I'm the only one who read "landed" and had no problem picturing you and a buddy bouncing around then touching down on a road in a small plane?
  3. Let's all trailer to Letape and run back n forth to Hebertville?!
  4. Oh the joy and pain of April 1st. Doh!
  5. This would be less driving, and they're still grooming the 23 going north: Roquemont 105 route 367, Saint-Raymond Québec G3L 2Y4 Canada (418) 337-2819 www.roquemont.com The sled shop & gas station that shares a parking lot with the hotel can tell you if there's still traffic passing thru: www.performancevoyer.com
  6. Dang, this desk-sledding is tough enough in the summer, but it's REALLY TOUGH when conditions are mint!
  7. Looks like they groomed from the railbed all the way to LSJ last night. And Scorpion Bowl's fav 355 too!
  8. Joseph Armand was a God. Those B-units can really move some pizza! Wow, Phillippe has a BUNCH of cool stuff posted!... https://vimeo.com/user47406050/videos Maybe he could write his name in the snow?... And maybe he could follow a Groomer session with the drone?!
  9. Forecasts all over the province for mixed precip, plus night temps well below freezing through mid April, and this many clubs still grooming, sure seem like signs that I need to plan my calendar better! And we confirmed on Gaspésie this week that "whites" on the fcmq site (over 72hrs since last grooming), can just mean they're good and don't need it!
  10. Ditto, nice hard base! Please pardon my fun with clipart! This week we saw zero snirt! Definitely a week or two to go! Just watch for typical March stuff, like a sign or two falling over & a sinkhole or two by snowbridges over streams.
  11. Time to start reserving those (Spyder) tricycles?!... Hmm? Uh huh!...
  12. Please pardon the "artist's rendering" of the New Brunswick section. The more tech-savvy among us have real GPS crumbs if needed...
  13. Wow, very nice! Thanks for sharing!
  14. The whole Gaspesie was groomed, unbelievable prime conditions. But... as soon as you turn onto Groomer's secteur you just know it. The trails are a little bit smoother, a little bit wider, a little bit softer, a little bit nicer. Ditto on the thanks for everything JG. You're a true artiste. Memories of your trail therapy, and our reunion de pizza bacon, and as always your photos, help to make the off seasons more bearable!
  15. A Rider's Ride, to be sure. Totally psyched to have been a part. And totally pooped right now!
  16. Sure enough, headed right into ice pellets with mad wind & snow as forecasted, and closed highways & bridge to south Montreal as expected, then clear skies at the border, then...Touch down!
  17. "They" (whoever "they") are, say that the 5 stages of separation are: Anger, Denial, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. But we're big boys, so we beelined from Denial to Acceptance. So we'll beline from sunny Edmundston to Riviere du Loop, to get on the road before the main roads close. It's not a profit until you take it off the table. And we're taking a TON. What a great way to start the off-seasons!
  18. "friend of my dad landed the spaceship...i guess the suspension must be a little bit lower now !!!"... And probably 3" shorter! I mean the rider!
  19. No need to go to Amqui. Just giving options for your convenience. We're 100% good with our regular rendezvous if you are! See you @ 6:00!
  20. Hand over the coordinates! We will report! We're headed that way to explore on Wednesday or Thursday!
  21. Yeah, me too, but it was 3 years, and no storm!
  22. OK cool! Tomorrow/Tuesday it is!We're going to play around between Carlton and the 587 and maybe some of the locals if time allows. But we noted that our favorite place across from Motel du Vallon closes @ 7:00, so we better plan to get in by 5:00 to get hosed off and get together @ 6:00. Or... "Plan B" (B is for bacon of course), if there's a place you prefer toward Amqui? How was it landing that space ship with no suspension?!
