  1. I'm considering a skandic extreme 900r for next year. was wondering how these sleds do on the hard packed trails in quebec. problems cooling them? ice scratcher assuming is mandatory. 1.8 track is for sure bigger than I'd like. are they alot to muscle down the trail?
  2. I love that area when I get a chance to ride there.
  3. I'm here right now it is open and groomed.
  4. besides my own problems with my phone it was pretty easy. nothing to get worried about.
  5. crossed over today and was selected to take the kit to my hotel. lucky I'm starting in quebec city.
  6. if that's all that u need that would be great. I always go for the worst and hope it's better.
  7. yes right next door is a articat and yamaha dealer. good memory.
  8. cost of new engine will exceed the value of the sled. part the sled and use it towards a new one. Chris you need a turbo buddy 🙂
  9. two bubbles? the groups I ride with are mostly 6-8 people.
  10. I had friends up there the day it opened. trail was not marked well at all and no gas. 149 miles like some guys were saying. all the skidoos made it a polaris and yamaha did not on gas. so if you plan this run bring gas.
  11. chris buddy you have some stories to tell my friend.
  12. snowmaster do you have a backup sled? don't recall you ever saying you did. I'm sure a fix is being put in place so u can still ride the rest of the season.
  13. Mike how are the trails up there this year? I'm dealing with quebec restrictions and going there this year.
  14. get well soon and hopefully smooth trails will still be around for you this season.
  15. that's what I thought also that if you called them it eliminate the middle man. probably best 80.00 you can spend.
  16. snowmaster the one guy I ride with had over 12 k on his when he sold it. guess you had great ones our junk🤷‍♂️.
  17. is it me but are there people inside eating? jackets off and sitting down for sure?
  18. there is plenty of snow threw that area.
  19. I will be back up around the 22 of the month and don't plan to return till sometime in March 😃
  20. just came down 23 last night to st. Raymond and it's rough guys. from st. Raymond to the gas stop le tap. (yes I'm sure I spelled it wrong)
  21. I was told the 17th of this month?
  22. we had lunch in La Tuque at a gas station they let us eat sandwiches inside off to the side and no one complained to us. I found it odd that we could not go into a McDonald's and order for takeout. with a trailer in tow it's not easy to go threw a drive through.
  23. well we went 73 all the way up. it was not groomed around la Tuque. not enough snow to fill the holes in. we did 180 miles not bad overall. we didn't see that it was closed I just looked on imotoniege it doesn't show closed?
  24. well across the border yesterday no problem. at roqumont getting ready for our first burn of the year up to relays 22. it's-8 right now plenty of snow to ride. last night for dinner we had menus in the room and called down with our order and they brought it to the room. was actually pretty quick and easy. we are a group of six and they did not have a problem with us being in one room hanging out. but not allowed to do it in the hotel area.
  25. same here headed up for a shake down run out of saint raymond. will find out first hand what the outfitters are doing
