  1. Where are you going from there?😬Google is telling me it is 45 degrees F there now.....
  2. Nice! I am glad it went well for you.
  3. I am curious if the " Contributing Member" status on a user's profile is related to content contribution, or financial contribution? I have given $125 to : "PAYPAL *JOHN ROWE 888-221-1161 CA" since January 2023. Other amounts in previous years. I have been doing so via the membership drive banner at the top of the page,,, Hopefully the money has been going to the correct place...
  4. Excellent! I am glad you made it through there. Back to Riviere Du Loup today? I hope it goes well.
  5. On dirait que c'est l'hiver.👍
  6. Thanks for posting. Glad you had a good day.
  7. Indeed. Lodging has become a pain. Hopefully you can get around the south side before the warm up. Unless you plan to go back North via Murdochville. Good luck.
  8. 💪That's what it takes. I hope you can enjoy some good riding. It would be a little less for me from Southern Maine. 640 miles. 12 hours and six minutes according to our friend google.
  9. 👍Hope it goes well! What's the destinaton today?
  10. Excellent. Enjoy!👍http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_drinks.gif
  11. Nice.👍 Enjoy the ride today. Look forward to hearing about it.
  12. Good luck! I hope it goes well. I will be watching. 🤞
  13. Indeed. I just thought it was bizarre that it came months after it was ordered.
  14. Indeed, for sure. I enjoyed some 5000-7000+ mile seasons in the nineties. I have gotten fussy in my old age. I need a complety interconnected trail system, with good winter conditions that allow me to launch from Maine. I haven't given up yet, but if don't ride, then so be it. I am not going to spend the time and resources to do something I will be disappointed in, and possibly damage equipment. There is still hope, if it doesn't happen, then 2025. Good day, and good Farming. Keep yer stick on the ice. 😉
  15. I guess in my opinion, apart from cost, there is certainly no downside to having wheels. I have been riding on and off for Thirty-Six years, and never had them, however after my last trip in early March last year, I vowed I would not ride without them again. All parking lots etc were asphalt, and I had a difficult time maneuvering, and destroyed a set of runners. I ordered a set of wheels when I got home. I will say that I am running a 2021 Yamacat Viper LTX GT. My friend had much less trouble on his 2023 Renegade 900T.
  16. 🤪 http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2024_02/1943888371_TrailMap.thumb.jpg.4b5d069f779fa9e120f016f1855985a9.jpg
  17. Yup. Extremely frustrating. Particularly since I am at the point in my life where I finally have the time, and I can afford it, got through some life challenges, two and a half seasons of Covid shut down, now this...Oh well, as you said, there are many more important things to be thankful for. Just like the red sox, there's always next year. I will remain hopeful that this season can be salvaged.
  18. Thanks very much Monsieur et Madame Ice for the accurate reporting and photos.
  19. Indeed. I decided after my last trip in early March that I was not riding without them again...
  20. Ok, Merci. Yes , I have wheels on my skis. I ordered them after my last trip in March..
  21. Merci. Posted four hours ago. You are up late, I am up early.😀🍷☕I plan to enter the Bas St Laurent Tuesday on sled from Maine. Am I better off seeking lodging further up the River? Merci encore.
