  1. We just ran this on Thursday, from Biencourt to Moose Valley approx 50 miles. Tons of snow and trails were a 10
  2. The return trip from the Universal back to the truck in Levi was just as perfect as the rest of our trip had been. Said our good byes to Mikerider, briefly met SkiDoo420 and hit the throttles a little after 8am . Went to top of the hill, turned right and went through the two tunnels and west we went down to the 559, which tied us into the 5. Definitely less snow the closer you are to the river, but still good going. Stayed on the 5 with plans on crossing over to 35 on the 557 behind Club Belle Pistes, but the groomer had returned from the 5 further west so we stayed the course until the little 1.5 mile orange crossover trail before getting to Club Hiboux de Kamouraska. The 35 had been groomed and as usual was a rocket where miles tick off at crazy pace. Took some fuel at Tourville and continued on. Not long down the track the Kitty decided to cough up another hair-belt, this Cat doesn't care for these speeds. Good thing we had stocked up on spare belts in RDL. After the belt fix we continued on 35 until the 547 North to connect to the 5 again. Same deal, less snow closer to the water, but nothing horrible. Took lunch in Saint Henri, then a short run back to the truck. All in all a super first run North of the border for the year, already looking at the calendar for the next one. Ended up with just shy of 700 miles for just over 2.5 days of riding. Thank you Quebec!
  3. Hey Tom! It was a great short little run, already trying to figure out the next one. Are you still down under, or have you returned ready to ride?
  4. I remember it well JG! I seem to also recall the three of us raising many glasses together the night before! Good food, company and wine!
  5. Four of us drove up from Vermont to Levi yesterday morning for a short 3 day run. Parked trucks at the Normandin and on the sleds around 10:30am. As Jack mentioned, trail has been rerouted leaving the parking lot, but all was good. Took the 75 to the 35 and headed east on the rocket trail, everything groomed recently and in great shape. We are three cats and a Doo, and one of the kitties didn't care for the high MPH pace of the 35 railbed and coughed up a belt just short of the Tourville relais. Spare was installed and away we went, trails as smooth as they come. Took the 557 crossover trail to 5 and continued on all the way to the Universal in RDL where we are roomed next door to none other than Mayor Mikerider himself. Great to see Mike again, and a big shout out to him for offering up his truck in the morning for us to locate a belt for the ailing kitty. Mike is a class act and a great asset to the sport, thank you again! Ended up with 230 miles for the day. This morning, after breakfast and the belt locating mission, we loaded up at a very late 9:30 starting time and headed for Moose Valley. We took 85 to the 44 short cut (Mike's advice) and onto the 544. Every time on this trail is nothing short of amazing! All groomed perfectly with hardly a scratch all the way to 571, then jump on the 35 to Biencourt to top off the fuel before entering New Brunswick. The 135 all the way to Moose Valley had been groomed last night and we were first tracking on most of it, just an incredible run. Lots of fresh moose activity, so beware. Lunch at Moose and then retrace our way back to Quebec. Pulled back into RDL with 245 perfect miles for the day. Will head back to the trucks tomorrow morning and then on the black trail home. Low light last 2 days, so only a few pics. As others have reported, very low traffic, we're not complaining a bit about that.
  6. Thanks Jack! Headed up in morning, will be in the mayors house tomorrow evening.
  7. Looking for any trail reports available in the Levi area. Thinking of dropping at the Normandin and headed east to RDL for a few days. Have left truck there in the past but just curious if anything has changed with trail access or parking? Thanks in advance for any boots on the ground info! Terry
  8. Mike, what's the Intel saying about the Levis area? Thinking about dropping there Wednesday morning and headed your way, but haven't read much about that run? Would probably spend two nights at your headquarters and loop back on Friday. Any info is much appreciated! Any wine left in house?
  9. Damn thing called life getting in the way Mike, need to drink wine to ease the pain! Seriously though, getting ducks all lined up to prepare for lots of miles in Feb & March. Have done a couple hundred miles up at camp in the NEK, but getting anxious to cross the border with all of the great pics and reports you guys are posting so keep them coming! Maybe will make it up mid next week, will you still be in your office?
  10. Now Mike, I'm only looking out for your health, there's no better medicine for your heart! Just ask Trailblazer, he will back me up! Hope the trails were good to you today, will be watching for your reports. In the meantime, a picture of this years wine list at the Universal would be nice to peruse....just sayin!
  11. Glad you're in your office Mr Mayor! Looking forward to your reports, hoping to get up to put some miles on and enjoy a glass or two of some fine rouge. How long will you be staying this trip? Take care Mike, see you soon! Terry
  12. Mike, what's that vino you're sippin on? Makes you very funny! Save me some! 🍷
  13. X3, and......also received one with Bill McFarlane's name on it! Not sure why??
  14. JG, that means the block I put on you is working! 😝. Hmm....not sure what that's all about? I am away hunting, but I will send a message to the office to find out what's happening. What exactly happens? Has anyone else had this issue? Talk to me peeps!
  15. Quebec Riders- OK, we have opened up the store again. We have added a pullover 1/4 zip fleece and a Polo shirt to the mix of items available. Both items will have the embroidered QR logo left chest, and if you would like your 'handle' added on the right chest it would be an additional $6. We will do the same as last time and leave the store open for a month. At that time we will gather all orders and process them to have in your hands for the middle of December, just in time for Christmas gifts! You can log onto the link below to start the process: https://quebecrider.itemorder.com/ Think snow! Terry
  16. Hello All- I just wanted to update all who ordered items for the month of September apparel store. We are in the middle of running the orders right now and hope to have everything ship by end of the week, but certainly no later than Monday. Thanks for your patience on this first order as we had a few bugs to work out, and I expect everything to flow a little smoother for future runs. The plan right now is to open the store back up probably starting the 1st of November, or maybe sooner. I expect that there will start to be a little more traffic and interest in items as winter draws ever closer. I also ask for feed-back on the items you will be receiving to let me know what everyone thinks, and if you would like to see different items added. One thing I think would go over well is a pullover that would be embroidered with logo and also have the option of having your 'log-in' name added. We will do what we can to keep everyone happy! Thanks, and look for your gear soon! Terry
  17. Hey Mike! Yes, we do them in house. Let me know what else you had in mind and I'll see what we can do...
  18. It's there now Don, scroll down to the bottom....
  19. Hey Fuse- Yes, my bad, there was supposed to be a 3"x5" euro decal on the site. I will make sure that gets added tomorrow if you want to hold off on your order. And yes, I am under the impression that your CC company takes care of all of the exchange. Regarding the shipping, my guy here in the office says that is all set as well, you just need to choose the country, enter your address and it should work. Really not sure of the cost for that yet, please let me know on check-out if there are any issues. Gutz, check your mail, it should be there! Headed to the golf course now, will check back tomorrow!
  20. Hello All- Ok, we are ready to launch the QR apparel website. We have selected a few items to start off with, and moving forward we can always add or delete items based on demand. The way this works is we will leave the 'store' open until the end of September, then gather all of the orders to print / embroider at that time. The turn time will be approx 10 days, and when everything is decorated, we will ship to individuals. Bear with us as we get our feet wet with this first order!! Hope everyone is happy with the options, and think snow! https://quebecrider.itemorder.com/ Regards- Terry
  21. Gutz hit it on the head! To many options equals lots of headaches! So, here's what I'll do......I will have my graphic dept come up with a few different layouts, both embroidered and printed. As part of our business, we also run 'Order My Gear' stores, so we will create a store so that you can log on and order what you would like, pay by CC and the order will be shipped directly to you. Probably for ease of production, we will take orders and enter into production at the end of every month. That way we are not setting up for single piece runs. All that being said, I still want to make sure this is OK with the Powers To Be, so any assistance is appreciated. Also, I would be more than happy to pay as an advertising sponsor, so I guess that would be the first step. I haven't payed much attention to how that works, so whoever is charge of that, please reach out to me! Stay tuned, designs to follow....
  22. That's what I do! Let me know if there is interest and I can mock up some items. Not sure who has to approve of such stuff, but if someone lets me know I can get the ball rolling!
  23. Lots of great pics JG! That doe looks heavy with child, should be dropping in a week or two
