Still plenty of snow. Probably 2 more weeks of riding. Sketchy getting out of Laurier but plenty good if you drop at the Airport. 13, 63, 53 all very good. Outfitters are closing.... 100 lacs has gas but closed other than that as is Meekos. Food and fuel at Unik Fer A Cheval may be closing too so call ahead. Piteman still grooming out of St Anne but limited hours at the restaurant and motel so call there too. Trails are great above st Anne. Getting beat a bit close to Laurier. Be heading out again thursday 😁

Big and bulky. Had one and returned it. Id suggest the Linq Q combo seat bag and either the sport tunnel bags which hold more than one would think or the Sr 21 tunnel bag We have 4 of the sport bags and 2 seat bags for our sleds. Thats plenty for a week or more for us on the move.

Easily done in 4 days so modify as you wish. Rimouski to Baie Blue, Baie bluecto Perce. Stay / eat at table du Roland. Perce to hotel Cie .... 400k day but easily doable on 5. About 40k shorter if you run 597 through Murdochville. Maybe 1212 or elsewhere from Cie then back to l’empress Note there is no gas in Perce so don’t roll in on fumes.

Keep an eye on the weather... supposed to storm tomorrow / Sat. If it’s more snow than rain you will be fine but I’d suggest starting from L’empress if you are bagging for a few days. If your day looping you may want to consider Amqui as you can ride in a different direction for multiple days. Hotel Rimouski is on the map but there is no snow to get in and out on.

If you’re thinking about coming better get here soon unless you just want to ride the interior. 5 east out of Rimouski won’t take much more...hilltops getting scorched. No issues up over the top to Amqu, pointe a la croix over to new Richmond, perce etc. Trails were great all the way round save for about 30km around chandler.

Ditto on most above universal in Rdl is great as well. Spa is nice after a long day. Decent food and comfy rooms Great couple at La Verendye now and food is good. Same at 100 lacs. Haven’t stayed at too many places I wouldn’t go back to as everyone in La Belle Province gets it 👍

Best call the Roquemont in advance as they have been booked solid thurs through the weekend the past few weeks and lot has been full. Believe front desk has passes

Indeed Can’t think of a better brand ambassador. He’s gone above and beyond for many including myself. BRP needs these kind of dealers.... the ones that care!

Surprisingly I actually got a call from BRP after they read the letter I sent. I asked the person if he knew Mr Primrose or if he had visited the dealership... no i asked why he called me...we value you as a customer. I asked why they want to terminate Jims as I know for a fact that it isn’t a sales volume or CSI issue as Jims ranks very high in both. Didn’t answer but that would leave 2 things..,facility or corporate agenda. Guessing faculty has a lot to do with it. Im certain the BRP powers cringe when they go to Jims. The shop wouldn’t meet their standards nor would the showroom but really ... who cares? Certainly not me. Simply put ... people buy from people. You can find a nicer showrooms and shops anywhere. Better people or service...NOT Shared those thought with the gentleman that called me. Think he understood. That said, not sure it will have any effect on things. All we can do is hope👍

I’m sure there are many here that have dealt with Jims Performance Plus a family run BRP dealer in Iroquois Ont. Sadly the powers that be at BRP have decided they would like a fancy new dealership in Cornwall and as a result have terminated their dealer agreement with Jims. Those of you that know Jims know there is nothing fancy there... just good people that care about their customers. I could write a book about what they have done for me on weekends including Sundays, after hours during the week etc. I'm sure many could. I get corporate mandates and all that stuff. Just sad to see good people get caught up in situations like this. Anyway here’s a post from one of their customers. I had sent a letter to BRP earlier having been made aware of the situation. I know Jim, Patti, Leo, Lisa and the rest of the staff would appreciate your support :) CLOSING... I try not to get involved in politics, but this time it is personal. BRP as a corporate company has decided to attempt to close JIM’S PERFORMANCE in Iroquois and the Alexandria BRP location to open up a new store in Cornwall. What I would like from you if it is at all possible is a letter stating why you think they should stay in business. I am grasping at straws to show BRP that closing JIM’S would be devastating to the dealership and customers. If you could either or both send a letter to BRP and to me as I will compile all the letters together and send to them to make noise. Snow globe day. Snowfall warning at the Roquemont this am. Lit out on 23 at 9. Into Le Tape for fuel and the obligatory Coq Roi at 11:30 Met maybe 4 sleds. Swimming a bit with all the pow but trial was decent. As usual tons of sleds at tape. Traffic a bit heavier heading to Apacia but still not bad Wind blowing like a mo, flat light and snow so Vision on hydro lines and open spaces sketchy but trail is cherry. Blow by Apacia and groomer has been out..lots of traffic heading south so just putting.... for cris sake tabernak and all that stay right people😳 10min out things die down so off we go. Real good until we hit the fields outside Sag. Holy hurricane .... she’s blowing! limited visibility and serious drifts. Time to decel... wind is literally trying to blow us off the trail and can’t see shite. No prob just slow down and keep an eye on the Gps. Only 20k to the delta. No prob ... right? TBC..😳

Open to Val Dor Quick lil toot from the Classic to Pavillion La Verendrye thurs afternoon. Nothing groomed.... single track all the way and greasy lots of evidence of blow offs.... slow down peeps and stay right. ran back down this am and she was carpet all the way down😁 Met quite a few sleds this aft as you would expect on a Friday .... lots of riders clearly cutting corners and running to fast in areas with little of no vision.... I’ve already been taken out once this year by someone doing exactly that😡 Slow down, keep right and stay on the friggn trails people Ride safe all 👍
