I went for a quick run today, across the Ottawa River over to Shawville and up to Ladysmith and back. Lots of snow, trails were awesome. I would expect that things in th Abitibi region should be opening up. We got around 15cm + over the last 2 days. It's made a huge difference in the trail conditions. Nice to be riding close to home Mid-January. We had to trailer up to Val D'Or last year at the end of Janaury and Val D'Or lacked snow.

So far things are looking up this year :yahoo:

Lots of snow still some grooming to clean up a few areas and break off all the tags. 7oo miles 85% perfect. Game on.

:hi: Hey Ditchbanger what trails did you end up riding? Coming up next week and trying to decide if we should do the 83/93 loop from Clova or pick one and go down to Ville Marie and up 309. Thanks for the report. :good:

Just Got Back 309 needs work from Beletere to Rapide-Sept. 396 North of Tembec camp Staick are real bad. 396 half way from Matigami to Lebel-sur Quevilion needs work. rode the road for about 15 miles. No one is riding. Lots of snow.

Dave

396 North of Tembec camp, you said "staick" are real bad. Do you mean the sticks? If so, been there, done that back in 2007....with a brand new sled.
