The purchaser agrees to complete the transaction within a maximum of three (3) months from the date of the confirmation of sale by resolution of the board of directors of the Association des chasseurs et des pêcheurs Cherbourg-Dalibaire inc. The MERN lease for the land on which the building is located is currently a community lease. The lease may be modified, if necessary, at the same time as the purchase of the building for a commercial lease. The MERN must be informed of the proposed use of the building and thus determine whether the lease will retain its community vocation or whether it will have to be changed to commercial. Please note that the MERN offers its full cooperation to the buyer in the purchase process of the building, the transfer of the lease and/or the modification of the latter. The Association can send the contact details of the person to contact the MERN to any potential buyer, if the latter wants to have more information on the lease or possible projects. Anyone interested in visiting the site can contact Mr. Nelson Dugas, President, at 418-429-9258. Note that obviously, visiting the site will become impossible by car after the snowfall. smclelan
That is sad news. Definitely a regular stop when sledding the Gaspesie. Hopefully someone will take it over. It takes a certian type of person to own and operate a business in a bit of a remote area. I don't believe it is plowed in to there during winter. I always stopped there and had a meal or a drink, it is important to support remote businesses if you want them to survive. NSHM
Not that far from Groomer. Maybe he could use a winter hobby. Only the price of 2 sleds in Canadian dollars. PLAYHARD and MrGutz 1
smclelan
Certianly an iconic stop in the Gaspesie. It was a spot there was always sleds at. You could ride from Matane to there not meet a sled, pull in the yard and there would be half a dozen sleds parked out front. Go inside to warm up and before you leave half a dozen more sleds would come and go. PLAYHARD
quebec bob
I always enjoyed that stop and the way they had to dig down to the entry door as the snow piled up around the building....It's another casualty of the shut down and a big loss for us. zeusand, PLAYHARD and smclelan
