JJ&K@twist-itdesigns
thought we better ck with the experts before we did anything silly.Days Inn in Berthierville to Sacre-Coeur,think its about 325 miles which is no problem. We dont know about rt3 problems, the ferry times or if we need revs. in Sacre-Coeur.Leaving days inn on sat morning and eventually making our way towards the delta.Thank in advance,Jeff
PISTON LAKE CRUISER
The ferry at Tadoussac runs day and night and its only a 10 minute crossing so if you just miss it its likely a half an hour to 40 minute wait. I'm assuming you will go 3/351/302/3. From Berthierville to Quebec City has a lot of turns and intersections. If you have a dash mount GPS it won't be too bad. From Quebec City on its straighter and good big trails . Recommend fuel at Pont Rouge Ultramar and Le Michelieu at intersection of 3 and 378 for sure. MrGutz
If It was me... I would cut the day in La Malbae or Bay St Paul. The stretch from there to the ferry is usually the worst\twisty. Then the run up to the ferry through Valin and to the Delta is really do able in a day. Later GutZ PLAYHARD
PLAYHARD
Thru QC on 3 on a Sat can be a of heavy mix sled & quad & x-country ski traffic. You can keep your head down & elbows in, but maybe not perfect groom by midday. The top stretch to the ferry is beautiful, but like Gutz said it's pretty twisty. This joint kicks ass if it's in the budget: https://www.fairmont.com/richelieu-charlevoix/ If so spring for the $10 indoor underground parking AND POST A PIC OF THE TEAM ICEMAN STICKER ON THE ZAMBONI! PLAYHARD
Day's in to the Fairmont is a good day @ 276mi. Then you'd also have the choice of bagging the ferry, and just blast up to Saguenay via the Clermont Express (83), because off-trail traffic around Valin can be hairy on Sundays.
