  8. Fabulous report !!!! Glad you had loads of fun and good times. The challenges we all face (sooner or later) and overcoming them is what adds to the fun …LOL

  12. I leave you with my last post and pic of the season. The MIGHTY "Club Clova poutine" my second one of the year. A massive sandwich sure to please the biggest snowmobiler...LOL Hoping EVERYONE has the GREATEST of off seasons and best wishes to all. Only got to see one other Quebec Rider this year ...."Je me Souviens" in Clova last saturday and George it was GREAT seeing you again too !!!
  13. I am took the 900R first trip this year. Wanted to break the "old girl" out for this trip. Did not ride it last year and I pulled the engine AGAIN this fall to do some stuff and wanted to make sure all was good. Talk about "holy shit I hope I put everything back right" ......she ran like new the whole 3 days/617 miles. I forgot how much I LOVE this sled. As much as I love the 900R enduro I told my buddies half way through this trip that if I had to race myself on any given 20-30 mile challenging trail I think I would win on the 1200. It's lower CG I can rail around the corners faster I think. Then again I have 17K of experience on the 1200 and only 3K on the 900R
  14. Last dinner at Gouin Moose meat spaghetti There was a different pie for dessert every night too just too lazy to resize and post

  19. Sunday March 22 on the Gouin
  20. Saturday March 21 dinner on Gouin moose stuffed peppers
  21. Here at La Patate du Gouin . You have to take the road out of Clova for some ways and turn up 3KM to the road going Obedjiwan to get to this place. Its a GEM. She has food, beer, and rooms and the place is NICE. she said I was the first ever American snowmobiler there. Summertime a different story as she caters to fisherman
  22. I wanted to leave some pics of my recent 3 day excursion to buddy Andre's on the Gouin but could not post till I resized images now that I'm home. So here they are.....with bonus food porn dinner pics every night at Andre's. Here day 1 on 83 about 20 miles before Clova Saturday March 21
  23. we just dropped down from my buddy Andre's house on the Gouin trail to right near Haltaparche to get on the 83 the first day and all the way through Parent to Clova. We were never on a FCMQ trail after that for 3 days. It was good last Saturday as it had just been groomed a few days before with little traffic. It was warming up that Saturday going into Clova and we did pass about 12 sleds heading east towards Parent and being soft the corners were getting bumped up a little. Having not been (nor will be) groomed since then I bet its certainly rideable but not the greatest. I think Fer a cheval will be taking over the 13 all the way into Parent for next year with Manawan doing Kanawata/Casey/Wemo and Senneterre coming from the west to some point. My friend Andre and his wife have been in/out of the club as officers/president various times over the years and this year Andre has been helping them mechanicly while his wife is helping to co ordinate the club dissolvement. Not knocking the people of Parent but they just cant do it anymore. Too much mis management over the years and no one left to effectively run it the way it needs to be. Hopefully your average snowmobiler wont even notice the difference next year. God Bless them for doing all they could over the years. Its a BIG, LONG and difficult area to cover.
  24. The Alliance du Nord (parent Club) is supposedly taking one last run down to Kanawata to leave the drag there permanently. Doubtful they will go to Wemotaci but rather drop south on the 345. BTW.... Aliance du Nord club will most likely not exist going forward after this week. Senneterre Club & Manawan club are taking over their equipment and area's going forward.
