  2. If you scroll down this list, you will see “GT 2018” post. Jim and I rode the North Shore from Godbout to Harve Saint Pierre and back. There are plenty of pictures for you to look at. Then ,you can decide for yourself.

  3. Welcome Doug, There debate on whether wheels are necessary or not could go for pages. Personally I have traveled in Quebec for 18 yrs without wheels, however I got a deal on a used pair thanks to Andyman the last year I was up there. I will never have another sled without wheels. Are they a necessity, no....but I would rather be looking at them, then looking for them. The ease getting around gas stations, restaurants, motels, or ferry terminals makes it worth the price to me. Sounds like a great trip you and yours Buds have planned, awesome scenery.

  4. Hi George, Thanks for the help! I will pass it on! I stayed at Mont St Pierre this year as well. It was ok but had to have room service. Froze. She is trying to keep a float but wow. Tough life. I have to say I am often on Facebook as well. I sell Real Estate for a living and I can’t believe how much business I get from that. Like everyone else it’s been a crazy adjustment but I have been so busy I feel like I am going crazy most days. So yes Bill is correct. Get into the group when you have a chance. I am however in 2 derbies ( salmon) this year and in the 3rd week but have only fished 2 days of it. Work has not slowed much. Attached is a fish I caught last week, her name…’Not big Enough’. Hopefully I catch her again when she’s put on some weight. hope you’re enjoying summer! LindaSledGirl

  5. Welcome to QR Doug! Where are you thinking of starting off from ? .Do you ride a touring sled or more sporty type ? I've been riding all around Quebec for a few years and have well over 50,000 miles racked up , Myself do not feel the need for wheels , others feel the other way i'm sure Hopefully the TQ 3 trail is open past Forestville for this coming season , last season it was not for a good section

  6. Decided to hit the trail. My first time ever riding the federal Quad trail. It surely is much different than riding the sled. But seat time is seat time. Still felt good to pinch the throttle a bit, albeit at a much slower pace. Certainly do not cover the ground like when riding the sled.

  7. I would love to ride Millinocket another year. So nice to arrive there in 2 1/2 hours instead of 6 hrs or more. If the border opened and I stayed in Maine, I probably wouldn't have any friends to ride with in Maine, they would all be in Quebec. So if the border opens, and the Quebec businesses are fully open with no foolish rules about seating etc. (like only 2 to a table and only half the seating available), I most likely will go to Quebec. I am torn. Maine trails weren't as consistently as smooth, but they were really nice in Millinocket and the lunch stops were top notch. The hotel owner really treated us QuebecRiders great, letting us gather each late afternoon or evening in his un used bar. He even let a couple guys leave their sleds next door in his storage garage so they wouldn't have to trailer them home.

    2022 NEW SLED ORDERS

I didn't want to tell anyone i switched teams ....... but its time. Ive been a Yamaha fans 30 years Sleds and dirt bikes starting in the mid seventies. That love has ended. Yamaha's decision to drop out of the snow mobile business and only build engines has changed my opinion. I snow checked a Renegade 850 with Smart Shox. For anyone who has not followed this story see vid below. This is big.
