  1. That is better than last year and some years. Good to look forward to.
  2. Was curious if gas prices in Quebec have been down as they have been in US lately?
  3. Looks like areas north and west of the river did best with snow as opposed to rain. Lots of good pictures and posts from around LSJ...Saguenay region.
  4. Looks Good! Thanks. We all are...hoping for even more snow to patch up some thin spots...but it sounds like conditions are very ride-able and actually good overall. Should be riding this area in a few weeks. I love getting a cup of french onion soup, club sandwich, and maybe some poutine when we stop at Culliere a pot!
  5. Looking to join up with anyone who would welcome me along to do some riding with them in the coming weeks. Love to ride in Canada, and look to avoid solo riding if possible so invites would be welcome. Thanks I can be reached by IM
  6. Yes that is duct tape holding top of windshield together. Minor rollover in town with her sled before we made trip to top of Mountain Noir.
  7. LoL. KrikRi Pro for pictures! My wife grumbles something fierce if/when I stop to have her take a picture. We use our cell phone cameras. Took some nice pictures ones last season around St Donat. Wifey.... Cold and wondering why I am taking this picture? She would have preferred continue to ride and have hand warmers on hi.
  8. Awesome pictures and trail reporting. You really should get something nice from department of tourism in Lanaudiere! I am closer and closer to making a trip up soon. Have a trip planned for Feb 1 for a week....but may be looking to get some riding in before then if I can find folks to ride with so I don't have to go solo. Do you use a go pro camera for the pictures? I have been thinking of getting myself one for riding to capture scenery and memories.
  9. I have never ridden that far North. Furthest north I have ridden is St Michel
  10. Did you do this run in one day? How many miles is it? Trails look nice.
  11. Sweet looking sled. People will either love or hate the colors I suspect.
  12. Thanks for the update. Sounds like trails up north fared better than south like near Joliette. They got less snow in Southern parts of Lanaudiere and more sleet/freezing rain I believe.
  13. I checked the web cams in St Donat and it looks as though they received at least a few inches of snow and sleet from recent storm! This no doubt added to the really thin snow that was on ground. It is better than getting rain. Hoping to hear some reports from folks in the area who can update conditions. Also looks like forecast next few days is for some snow here and there. Every bit helps to get the season off the ground! I think even if some freezing rain falls, it will not wash away what snow has fallen (I hope). Then big freeze which should firm up the wet snow to create a great frozen base. At least this is how I hope it plays out.
  14. Sounds like freezing rain now forecast for Lanaudiere and points south. Hope it is wrong.
  15. I figured. We also had rain and 50's in PA. :(
  16. Hopefully snow this weekend. Keep fingers crossed
  17. Snowdog.....do you have any snow up your way? Lake George? I have done a little riding around LG in past. Rode up to lookout mountain and around area. My wife and I were in Lake George last New Years eve/day. I did the Polar Plunge for the first time. Stinging cold.
  18. Time for all of us to do the snow dance! I am supposed to come up in early February. Lets hope they have snow soon.
  19. Great pictures. Hoping it doesn't rain and mess up what little base there is.
  20. Alain, Awesome early season trail pictures. I am hoping to get up to do some early season riding ASAP. I will probably wait for another snow to improve the trails even more...but it looks like some areas have a good start to the base. Lets hope for colder temps and snow. Might be some coming Wednesday....but at this time only predicting a small amount. I like your new ride. Very sharp looking sled! Thanks for posting the first ride pictures! Look forward to many more.
