Great pics! What are you flying for a drone?  The furthest I have been is just over 3 miles with my old Phantom 4.  I'm currently flying a Mavic 3 Classic and the range is even better. This pic is from a few weeks ago at right around a mile.

Iceberg beer and a Moose burger for my last night on the Rock.
This is the last Berg we saw. I shot this video yesterday morning. 27 May 2025. I was about a mile and a half away.

I am currently in St Anthony Newfoundland. We had some very nice weather for viewing ice bergs yesterday. These chunks of 10,000 year old ice fascinate me. The drone provides so much more view and perspective. I will eventually have to learn how to edit the YouTube videos .

Hopefully it stays that way when we upgrade to v5. I think Invision has fixed most of the bugs in v5, but there my be some minor issues to work through.

First time in a long time I could see multiple posts normally ! Bravo !!
If these upgrades require donations beyond the “ Contributing Member” annual please don’t be shy. Thrilled progress and even continuance of QR is happening. Looked grim for a bit.
    Appreciate the efforts.

As smclelan said, I met with ckf today and he was able to reboot his server and get things in good shape. You can get to regional forums now and hopefully many other things are working.

We are also working on a significant upgrade to QR, so stay tuned…

🌨️ 🏔️ ⛄ On behalf of myself and the Deputy Premier and Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Geneviève Guilbault - MNA for Louis-Hébert, I am proud to announce an investment of $278,096 in the Club moto-neige La Tuque Inc. to improve infrastructure for off-highway vehicle (OHV) use and enhance safety.
With a budget of nearly $3 million, the program has supported numerous projects since its inception, including the construction of footbridges and the redevelopment of trails.
In the case of the Club latuquois, we're talking about $41,250 to repair the bridge at the Lac Vic outlet; $129,971 to replace the multifunctional footbridge at Parc des Chutes in La Tuque; and $106,875 to rebuild the bridge at Lac Gros-Louis.
The Club has enjoyed a great reputation for 55 years. Its volunteers maintain over 580 km of trails with the help of five groomers. I would like to pay tribute to the dedication of the seven-member Board of Directors and to Claude Gagnon (photo), who has been President for 12 years.
The projects that will result from this announcement will enable us to take concrete action on safety for the benefit of users of this trail network. Many thanks to the many volunteers.

It was rough having to ride trails this nice all day. One last hurrah for the season.
Left from the "Classic" just up past Mount Laurier. App said trail was red but shown being groomed his past week. Lets go. I will say when I pulled into the parking lot I was questioning myself but once you got off the Highway there it was. Paradise. Okay there was a small section of logging road but then it was real nice. This section took us up the Lepine Road and then over to Club Gatineau. Real nice trail.  Nice leisurely lunch stop and more sledders pulling in while we were there. Original plan was to ride up to Notawissi and circle back. Well half way there it started to rain and being a softy that I am I decided we would cut it short. This was a nice 150 mile ride to close out a great season. If work wasn't so busy I would be inclined to go to Val D'or next weekend. But the bike is awaiting me now and time to change for summer.
Thanks for all who contributed this season their stories and insight. Hopefully the site will get the update over the summer and we can meet again next fall.

Been lazy and haven't posted till now.  My girlfriend and I went for a five day loop from the Gaspesie to Cote Nord.  Started at Pointe a la Croix on March 13, up through Albertville to Matane.  Met Linda Sledgirl, Andyman, and Groomer at the clubhouse for lunch, a great hook up. Linda and her crew were also enroute to Matane, we got there via the ghost trees.  We got the 8am ferry to Godbout, GF was impressed with the rollercoaster trail going into Baie Comeau. From there to Forestville for the evening.  Did I mention trails have been 10/10 right from the truck? Next day we rode from Forestville to the Chappelle and back to Forestville for the night, 240 miles. Still unbelievable trails except for the last few miles into the Chappelle as per norm. Next day headed back toward Baie Comeau for the evening ferry to Matane.  Rode some of the local orange trails above BC waiting for the boat. Still all good but getting warmer. Woke up in Matane to +8° with an afternoon forecast of rain, and rain for the next day....time to head for the truck.  It was like riding on mashed potatoes but was still very doable. Road crossings were getting muddy and parking lots were getting bare. Heavy mist started about 20mi from the truck, around the cable bridge. Did not get rain till after we loaded the sleds in the trailer. 780miles in 4.5days on pretty much perfect trails, weather, and conditions.  Good way to end the season.  A few pictures below of our adventure.
