So this year I’ve been hearing about the separate trail system and was just curious about it will be heading up to the area in the next few weeks so figured I’d ask here. Are these separate trails then what’s on the maps and FCMQ app, for example the trails the lead into the onatchiway relay I believe it’s 476 and what about the 373 that leads into and out of the relay? And info is greatly appreciated thanks!

As of this morning, they’re getting some good snows up there, including in town and south of the river so hopefully more areas will be opening up in the next few days to spread things out a bit

How come the groomer map isn’t showing anything now I know there is basically no grooming going on but I know from first hand knowledge they are grooming up at valin, escoumins, onatichaway just curious as to why nothings showing up on the map as groomed?

Jack so sorry to hear about the health and truck issues. Never a dull moment in life it seems seems like you’re in good spirits which is always the most important thing, you’re a trooper. You’ll be in my thoughts wishing you all the best I’ll be up in RDL probably several times this year so I’m sure will meet up at some point! Nobody paying attention to whats going on up there close to 30” of new snow in last 24hrs probably close to 3ft on the ground up there. Going to be some epic early season powder for some folks hopefully it all stays in place till the groomers get rolling!

Thanks for the update Mike was wondering how everything was holding up up there. I figured getting out of the hotel might be a bit of a challenge for the first few miles but after that seems like it didn’t affect much. Cold setback in and a few inches of snow tonight and tomorrow should make for some great conditions again.

Wondering how long you’re going to up there I’m heading up next week either to universal or up to the delta not sure which yet. I would be driving up next Wednesday and riding for 4 days before coming home February 27th.

I might be coming up to RDL within the next 2 weeks staying at universal of course would I be able to tag along with a group I have never been to this area but have ridden lots of Quebec. My father who I usually go with will not be able to join me anymore this year due to chemotherapy treatments. I really don’t want to ride a lone but really want to explore the area and learn it from people who know it well. I’ve been riding for 20+ years and am happy riding fast of just cruising around enjoying the sights. Thank you!

It’s definitely true I’ll be sure to show a copy of the fine when I receive it in the mail lol… like I said I was up there for 5 days and only saw the one zec agent he ticketed me and it was on a Friday so there probably more prevalent on weekends just like the FCMQ agents.

Basically they don’t know what the hell they’re doing and it’s so obviously a money grab. While I was up there, riding around for four days I only saw one agent the whole time he was waiting on the road in the truck.

I doubt that will be acceptable. We tried to do that, and they are pretty strict and buy, The book. Guy was kind of a real a hole too. It’s definitely for all riders riding the area not just off trail guys.
