Nov 25-26 snow started around 6pm yesterday very light, picked up overnight leaving about 2" total for this event. good news its looking white outside. bad news is its 34F feels much warmer today. there is a snowfall warning for tonight and tmmrw. but is supposed to mix and change to rain. forecast after that shows much colder so it could be a good thing and help put a nice frozen base down. we shall see.

No not yet.

No grooming anywhere yet. Pretty sure Caribou-Conscrits(Mont-Valin) will be first to start. Probably early December. Not sure of exact date all depends on snowfall.

Just updated my Trak-Maps this week. Had purchased motoneige 4 but now they released the new version so I called and they hooked me up with the newest version. (was free since I purchased less than 90 days ago). Call there speak with Claudine (very helpful and knows her stuff) 877-861-8725.

Between St. Tite and St. Thecle. Club has a right of way issue with landowner. Club is working on it. Time will tell. Sucks if this does not get sorted its the direct access to St. Raymond for me.

November 22-23(night) snowed lightly all day and picked up nicely with giant flakes last night. currently 34F Partly Cloudy got about 1.5" of snow. enough that I saw the town plow(grader) pass this morning for the first run this season and the guy even came who clears my driveway.(got to make sure Mrs. Iceman can get out when I am out Riding). a few pics..........

Yup maybe some new trail for next Season not this year. Would be awesome to go from le Etape to Charlevoix, should be nice. Time will tell.

That's the spot. Evidently its 4 landowners there, that have denied passage. Probably all related to their neighbor getting the ticket for no Helmet on his private land. No choice if this is not resolved it will mean going thru St. Raymond to Le Etape on 23 then down 369 to get back to TQ 3. To go east. Man i feel for those in Qc city area because essentially they are cut off from going west. (without going thru Le Etape)

Way I figure it its near where if you are coming from Qc city and going west. You leave the powerlines (TQ3 used to go straight on powerlines but they lost the section there a few years back) now you go dow through the woods and come to a Relais/clubhouse where there is usually a groomer parked. Its somewhere near there. Coming to Qc. City from trois riveres its after the airport. Not sure what will happen.

I spoke with Richard today. He is well. However, the Auberge is closed. No plans to re-open right now. He is living in the Auberge and says maybe it will re-open but not for this season. If you guys want to say hello you can reach him there, 819-646-5735. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
