  1. Travelling to Ottawa right now from the GTA, dinner at Rosie’s tonight at 9ish and then sleeping at the cabin. 6am start tomorrow, destination Matane to start the Great Gaspe Loop. Pictures and trail info to follow.
  2. I have ridden all the areas you mentioned. I live in the Toronto area and IMO nothing beats Gaspe; the scenery, great fast trails, fantastic accommodations and food, we are actually heading back to Gaspe tomorrow, starting a clockwise loop from Matane.
  3. Yes, orange trail from Murdochville to La Cache
  4. This is what I am thinking. Driving from Toronto to Ottawa/Montreal Thursday after work. Then Friday driving to Matane and riding 130km to Village Grande Nature first night, Gaspe second night, Perce then up to Murdochville 3rd night, across to La Cache and then down to New Richmond 4th night, then up and back to Matane Tuesday, drive home to Toronto Wednesday.

  6. My group will be doing a similar ride starting March 2nd.
  7. Saddle bagging clockwise, hoping to arrive in Matane Thursday afternoon and riding to Village Grande Nature Thursday night about 130km of riding I believe. We will be riding about 300-400km/day.
  8. Hello QR's a group of us are heading to Gaspe Friday March 2nd until Wednesday March 7th riding Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and back to Toronto on Wednesday. I am looking for advice on best places to stay in Gaspe and the best lookouts and must see attractions. The wives like high end accommodations with hot tubs, pools, fine dining, and Spa facilities would be nice cherry on top. Thanks in advance, Carm
  9. Highlighted route, 63, or 13 which is fastest?
  10. I am going to be riding this region Saturday morning and Monday morning. I haven’t seen any groomer activity on iMotoneige this week. Are they grooming tonight or tomorrow to prep rails for the weekend?
  11. Going to be riding this stretch on Sunday. I see there are a couple of different trails we can take down, looking for advice on which is the best route and gas/lunch stop information. Thanks, Carm
  12. I haven’t seen any groomer activity this week hopefully they are out tonight and tomorrow we are riding that Region on Saturday morning.
  13. Just deciding whether to take 13 or 322 when leaving the cottage to our first gas stop, which one will be a faster run?
  14. 850's and sidewinder, we all run 14.5L gas buddies so we should be good for 200km and using the bypass, thanks for the info Trailblazer!
  15. Looks like first day will be Gatineau to Lac Faillon, second day to Village Windigo, and 3rd day home. Where are all the gas stops for day 1; 63 West and 386 North?
  16. Is the La Verendrye bypass to the Indian reserve well marked?
  17. The second plan is exactly what I was thinking. Is there only 1 place to stay in Clova?
  18. I am looking for some advice and info for a ride we are planning to do next weekend. The plan is to leave Toronto Friday afternoon/evening after work and drive to Ottawa for a late dinner and then a quick 40 minute drive to our staging location on Lac Saint-Pierre just north of Gatineau. We want to do a loop and ride Saturday, Sunday and Monday back to truck and trailer. We want to ride 400-500km/day and we want to try and make it as far north as the 83 on day 1 and then loop back. Any advice on best routes, accommodations, gas/lunch stops and lookouts would be very helpful and appreciated. I have attached a possible route below but I am open to suggestions and alternate routes. Thanks in advance, Carm
  19. Hey Ice where exactly is Balbazard? Google maps shows it right beside Seneterre but I know that is not the case, I have always wanted to spend the night and have dinner there, I have heard a lot of good things.
  20. Snow depth is about the same in both areas:
  21. Head to the purple and pink.
  22. Everything around Saint-Zenon was great and it was snowing when we left! Forecast for the next couple days looks great, you should be good to go for your January 12th start date.
  23. I just got back from Le Cabonon yesterday. Everything North, East, and West is mid winter conditions. When we went south towards Saint-Donat snow was thinner and lots of exposed rocks on the trail.
  24. Should I just pm you with info for my 2 sleds and then follow the link for payment? Do you have paperwork to get insurance credit back for Ontario resident?
