  1. When I get home. Pics are to big I need to shrink them.
  2. Stupid phone, I will try again. Yes, I was past the Bazinet today. Trail is good. We are just 3 or 4 inches of fresh snow away from being perfect.
  3. Bag trip Thursday. Going to try to get up to La Tuque and up to Relay 22 and stay at Windigo.
  4. Trails are very good in this area! Lots of snow. 230 miles today. Went south on 23 to St. Damien, 63 to Saint Emelie, Coin Lavign for Lunch. Then 33 up around Lac Tareau and back to Zenon.
  5. Are you saying 355 to La Tuque is not passable? Or could you not get to 355? I plan on taking 360 east on Friday to 355 and then up 73. Trails here in St. Zenon area are good. Hard base no ice on the trails just the parking lots. You also have to stay out of the towns streets are bare.
  6. Mark, we are staying right up the road, and will arrive tomarrow afternoon. If you are going up alone and want to ride with someone you are welcome to ride with us! PM me if interested.
  7. I used this one http://snowmobilecountry.ca/en/conditions It shows the same thing. Going to do something simple day 1 and then try to do an overnight bag trip to Windigo day 2 & 3. We will see how it goes. Tired of looking at the new sleds sitting in the trailer! I have to try to get them out.
  8. Everything Ive heard is the trails are good in this area. Plowed roads are a sheet of ice. I will be there Wednesday evening, so I will find out 1st hand.
  9. This is all second hand information so take it as that! Just got off the phone with Le Cabanon. I did not talk to Dennis! I talked to the person at the front desk and that person has informed me that all the people that come back from riding today, that she talked to said the trail are good in this area. I will wait another day before I decide to continue as planned or head farther north.
  10. In a couple weeks you should be good, providing they do not get anymore of this warm rain. My problem is we are heading up to the same area this Wednesday. If I do not see any updates on here I will call Dennis at Le Cabanon to find out how they faired. I may have to change plans it sounds like the Saguenay area has had a lot less rain.
  11. Any update on this area after todays rain?
  12. Keep us updated on the damage? Leaving next Wednesday, hopefully the rain is less than predicted. The snow can survive a few days of warmer temps, but when you dump heavy rain on top!!
  13. That would indeed be a short day. 2 years ago we left Lac Faillon in the morning in bad conditions cold, snow drifts ect in the "burn zone". We took 83 to 386 to 63. Ended up staying at Le Classic. I do NOT reccomend staying there. But after 100+ miles continous of the most beat up trails I have ever ridden on in Quebec, all that mattered was a bed and food and there is gas there. My point is I think from Val Dor to Pavillion you would be there by lunch at the latest.
  14. We had a chance to try our 900's today. We just flew around some farm fields here in Berks county. So far I like like it, smooth & QUIET! The only time you here the engine is at idle. Had it up to 65 and in sport mode it seems to get there pretty quick. Can't wait to hit the trails.
  15. Just got 8" of snow here last night. I will try to get out a little on Saturday. It wont be trail riding but it will give me a little bit of a feel for the engine.
  16. I would like to help as I have purchase 2 900 Gades. I have 0 miles on both so I am hoping for the best. I am reading reports of 17 to 22 with the 900 Gades? Seems to be the MPG's are increasing during and after break in. If this is true and most seem to love that engine so far. For trail riding it seems to be a nearly perfect engine. I can report back on this much better in 2 weeks which probably wont help you right now. Good luck on what ever you choose!
  17. That awsome almost fell off my chair! Can't wait to get up there. Thanks for the report. We are headed this week end to update some of our cloth's. It is starting to look like this may be one of the coldest winters we had in a while.
  18. I dont know why all the rooms are booked. Last season on 2 different nights we could not get a room but in the morning there were very few cars or snowmobiles parked at these locations. I could not understand why the rooms were not available when there was nobody there!!
  19. Never stayed the night there (Kanawata). That is normally a lunch stop for me but they have rooms, food, bar & gas.
  20. HOW ABOUT KANAWATA! Just another idea, and the trail in and out of there are sooooooper smooth and fast.
  21. What a shame Tamarack was one of my favorite stops. I was going to stay a night there in February, may I will swing down to Rabaska instead. I never stayed there.
